Similar to what happened with Shepherd & Cassill when Cassill went the distance at Homestead last year - clearly Morgan was holding his team back more than the car was. 21. rm posted: 07.09.2020 - 9:32 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Cindric has gotten by Gragson at least twice now, but hasn't managed to hold the lead at the start-finish line yet before Gragson reassumes the spot 22. As the FOX guys mentioned, Brown's currently in the last position on the playoff grid on points, battling Myatt Snider. Further replays and radio transmissions seem to suggest that Haley thought Brown was racing him rough and that Haley wasn't too disappointed with the outcome - with Clint Bowyer & Chad Knaus making mention of Haley's run-in with Riley Herbst at Pocono that resulted in a rare rough driving penalty against Haley. Hmm... 27. BOBO83329521 posted: 07.09.2020 - 9:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I think this opens the door for Cindric to get through and win while Gragson likely gets held up behind the 51. Haley out to the lead and Cindric gets in front of the 9 as he gets caught behind the 51, now Cindric out front as he passes Haley, now Briscoe up to third going for second on the 11! 28. Looks like he and Alfredo banged doors coming through the trioval, hard to say which of the two seemed to initiate the contact but the result was a cut tire and a wrecked #15 car. Colby waited for Alfredo to come back by under caution and gave him a wave that I wouldn't exactly classify as "friendly" afterwards. 38. rm posted: 07.09.2020 - 10:05 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) On pace to possibly be the slowest Xfinity race ever at Kentucky, currently coming in just under the speed from the messy but fun fall 2016 race. Good job on both ends Kyle. And your reward your first NASCAR Top 10 and first time since 2010 when Marcos Ambrose won Watkins Glen a driver in a 47 car in Xfinity Top 10. They've never even been close to the top 10 before. What a super impressive run by Kyle Weatherman! The team had never even finished 15th prior to last August, when Nicolas Hammann was 15th at Road America. They have since finished 15th 3 more times (Joe Nemechek at Atlanta and Kyle Weatherman in the last 2 races at Pocono and Indy). Most of the team's best finishes have come within the last year. As of July 2019, the team's best-ever finish (not including road courses and plate tracks) was 24th. Since then, they've finished better than 24th a number of times, mostly by Currey and Weatherman. In addition, prior to this year, no Mike Harmon car had ever finished on the lead lap (not including road courses, plate tracks, and rain-shortened races). This year, they've had 4 lead lap finishes: Bayley Currey at Atlanta, Kyle Weatherman at Pocono and Indy, and this race. 81.
