Brandon Jones has 3 wins this season and Chastain wrecks teammates at a restrictor plate race. What's the over under on how many races it takes for him to wreck kurt Busch next seas6. When he inevitably does I don't want to hear Chip Ganassi complain because he's the one that hired a low character individual. As for the race today I'm going to go with Chase Briscoe for number 10. 2. Condric 3. Burton 4. Chastain 5. Jones 9. Zach posted: 10.24.2020 - 3:29 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) @8 I'd like to know why Chastain and his fans get crapped on constantly. Is it just because the guy hasn't won yet this year and because he has an aggressive driving style? Give me a break. The guy has been the most consistent driver in Xfinity all year long and he's also the 2nd most talented behind only Chase Briscoe. You know it too. 10. Mile501 posted: 10.24.2020 - 4:09 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) Brandon Jones vs. Ross Chastain? That one's easy. Brandon Jones finally started winning during his 4th Xfinity season in top-level equipment. Meanwhile, Ross Chastain won in his 2nd Xfinity start in top-level equipment. Chastain has also led as many laps this season as Jones has in his entire career. Overall in the top 3 NASCAR series, each driver has 5 wins but Chastain has led 3 times more laps. Jones has led more than 36 laps just twice in NASCAR's top 3 series. Chastain has done so 16 times. In fact, Jones has never led more than 24 laps in any race he's won. He's just done a good job at taking advantage of late-race situations (which is a good skill to have, no doubt, but it's not everything). 12. When he causes a wreck, it's because he needs to be aggressive because he has something to prove. When he runs as many races as possible across all three series, it's because he just needs the experience. When he puts up underwhelming results with no wins, it's because his equipment is bad (even though other drivers have no problems winning in it). 15. People will disagree, but that 9 car is the top JR Motorsports entry, and it should be up there with Cindric if not Briscoe for wins. The only reason it is not is the driver. People say he's great because he leads laps, or won a race earlier, but this is the Gragson I've come to know over the years. He's both unlikable and overrated, yet everyone says he's socially likable and great. I don't understand what everyone else sees in him. My opinion, all of the JR Motorsports drivers are in for a rude awakening when Sam Mayer gets a little experience in that team's car, because he will win the races that the 9 and 7 threw away this year. 60.
