This may be the only race on this site won by a driver without a racing-reference page as MacCachren didn't run in any points-paying NASCAR race. First truck race ever for Mike Hurlbert. 2. Venable Racing's Ford F-150s had the field covered in this one, finishing 1-2 after running there the whole race. Off-road racer Rob MacCachren records his only Truck victory of any kind, as noted above he didn't stay when it became a points-paying series, and his teammate Gary Collins finished runner-up as he continued to search for his first win. 5. I guess they didn't get the memo when he didn't stick around. 6. Adding to the irony MacCrachren noted in victory lane that while off-road racing was his first love he was really looking forward to racing in the new Truck series the next year...while of course never came to pass. 7.
