Matt posted: 06.03.2006 - 6:25 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I don't think Bob had anything to do with Andy's CTS efforts. Andy's entry was fielded by the Mittler Brothers who also fielded entries for Jamie McMurray, Carl Edwards, Tony Roper, and Regan Smith. 4. He left the Bigfoot team to persue a career in NASCAR, this is as far as it got, apparently he couldn't find sponsorship. He didn't have a great race, I remember watching the broadcast and seeing him spin (I was only 11 at the time). I would love to find a photo of the truck, a screen capture from the TV broadcast is enough!! After Andy left the Bigfoot team, he stopped coming to the Orange County Fair Speedway and I never saw him again. 7. Two light poles in 24 hours. IRP officials then built a concrete wall on the inside of the track to protect the light poles. 9. Jones and Bodine both had capable trucks, also. 12. RaceFanX posted: 01.10.2011 - 5:26 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) P.J. Jones, a staple of the Trucks since their first exhibition, makes his final appearance in the series as a regular. He left Scoop Vessels' #1 DieHard Chevy to join Dan Gurney's new Toyota CART IndyCar program for 1996. 13. Although it didn't end as well as hoped this was by far the best run for the #77 team owned by Kevin Doran, which like their driver St. Amant was making its series debut in this race. This was Johnny Benson Jr's first runner-up finish in the Truck series, at the time he was more focused on beating Chad Little to win the Busch series title and only ran a handful of 1995 events. Hewould score three more second-place finishes in the Trucks over the years before he finally won a Truck race in 2006 at MIS. 15. 10andJoe posted: 02.27.2012 - 2:15 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) The #29 used a relief driver in the event; under the first caution, Frank Kimmel replaced Bob Keselowski in the truck. 16. 10andJoe posted: 02.27.2012 - 3:00 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) #23 sponsor: ASE / MTX #31 sponsor: Dick's Auto Parts 17. 10andJoe posted: 02.27.2012 - 3:08 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) #18 sponsor: Roehrig Engineering / Performance Friction 18. 10andJoe posted: 02.27.2012 - 3:31 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) #64 status: crash 19. 10andJoe posted: 02.27.2012 - 3:43 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) #83 sponsor: Coffee Critic / Mission Uniform & Linen 20. 10andJoe posted: 02.27.2012 - 3:47 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) #77 sponsor: Doran / MOMO wheels / Wynn's 21. 10andJoe posted: 02.27.2012 - 3:51 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) First caution: fluid on track Second caution: #26, #87 spin turn 2 Third caution: #31 accident turn 2 Fourth caution: #2, #30 accident turn 2 Fifth caution: #7, #64 accident turn 2 Sixth caution: #83, #4 accident turn 4 22. 10andJoe posted: 02.27.2012 - 3:51 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) RaceFanX: St. Amant did not crash with Miller. He spun out about 50 laps in but given how quick monster truck races are it's still surprising he was doing as well as he did despite being out of his element. The three-time PENDA Points Monster Truck Championship champion retired from monster truck racing to pursue his shot at NASCAR but this would be it. 27.
