That distinction goes to Ken Schrader who won at Saugus. 15. nascarfreak88 posted: 06.28.2014 - 11:46 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #14 What John H was referring to was the fact that Terry became the first to win in all 3 major series in one season. Kenny Schrader had not done that in 1995. 16. Hinch27 posted: 09.28.2014 - 5:09 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Ricky Craven won some NNS races with DuPont colors. 17. The race featured a great 3 way battle for the win in the closing stages between Labonte, Geoff Bodine and Ron Hornaday. Hornaday fought Labonte tooth and nail and even made a bit of contact for the lead before he faded to 2nd into the clutches of Bodine where the 2 got together much harder sending Hornaday into the wall and set up the great battle for the win between Bodine and Labonte which was won by inches by Terry. Hornaday was not pleased and spent the cool down lap finding Bodine. The 2 got in a quick argument after the race. Sadly there was no interview to see what exactly happened between the 2 on ESPN2 One other thing to note, per ESPN2 the 26 DNQ was Andy Brass and not Tony Roper. Can we confirm either way? 20. While this wasn't DW's Truck debut, he drove Ken Schrader's truck earlier in the season at Topeka, this was the debut of his race team in the series. He would go on to field regular Truck series entries for other drivers from 1996-1997 and 2004-2007. 22. RaceFanX posted: 11.09.2018 - 10:32 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) The 38-truck starting field for this one was the largest in Truck series history at the time of this race. It would continue to hold that status until the series started 40 trucks at its season finale at Phoenix later in the year. The big field came after two races where the trucks had started 34 racers at IRP, the record before this one, and then just 25 at Flemington; there was a bit of inconsistency in the early truck fields. 23.
