Last I heard he was running late models on the west coast as of a couple years ago. 4. SK posted: 09.01.2007 - 5:53 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Doug George finishes 5th, a career-best effort. 5. He had qualified 27th, and was listed as such by ESPN's starting grid. So the results should read: Starting positions: #29, 28th #31, 29th #38, 30th #36, 31st #11, 32nd #25, 33rd #14, 34th And adding: Fin 34th, St 27th, #58 Wayne Jacks, Jacks Racing Chevrolet (Wayne Jacks), 0 laps, $0, Did Not Start 13. 83andJoe posted: 07.06.2013 - 3:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) ^Further to that, Jacks was listed in race field rundowns during the race (as having completed 0 laps). http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/4760/wtkw.png 14. 83andJoe posted: 07.06.2013 - 4:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Jacks needs to be removed from the DNQs (and isn't linked to/showing in the owner records). #31 sponsor: Concor Tool & Machine #90 sponsor: Macklanburg-Duncan/Oklahoma City (same for all races in the #90 this year) #15 crew chief: Mark Gibson (same for all 1996 races) First caution: #75 oil on track Second caution: ? Bramblegrunt posted: 08.11.2017 - 1:57 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Bob Strait the lone DNQ loaned his truck to Lonnie Cox for the race after Cox had mechanical issues after qualifying. Sadly Cox's race started with another mechanical issue with Straits truck so the gremlins must have been stalking Lonnie on the weekend. Rich Bickle had a really hard crash in the exact same place his car owner, Richard had a crash here in the early 90s as well heading up the hill. Mike Skinner and Ron Hornaday had a great battle for the lead early in this race. Skinner's race took a really bad turn up the top of the hill when he skid off and piled into the banking but he was able to drive back under caution and still managed to claim 3rd. Great win for Rezendes though. Rezendes dominated the late portion of the race and won by over a second. He joked in victory lane when he saw nobody around him that he was wondering if everyone else pit or something 21. nascar_vd / racing-reference.info posted: 04.24.2018 - 11:34 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) C1996-21 Awards Busch Pole Award: Mike Skinner Gatorade Front Runner Award: Dave Rezendes Plasti-Kote Winning Finish Award: Danny Dias (#7) Ventvisor Brand Super Deflector Award: Dave Rezendes Featherlite Trailers Long Haul Award: Dave Rezendes Cintas Rookie-Of-The-Race Award: Doug George 22. Just watched the Cup race at Charlotte on Sunday the 6th and Ken Squier referenced how good the Truck race at Sears Point was yesterday when they were advertising a later Truck race in Phoenix they (TBS) were going to televise. Also in their this week in racing segment during the race they showed a graphic with the top 5 finishers in the Truck race. 23. The team's final race marked the only time it ever fielded two trucks as Mark Mountanos made his lone Truck series start as Portenga's teammate at the wheel of the #38 Captain Cook's Coffee Chevrolet. Both of the caffeine-backed Chevrolets dropped out with mechanical failures. 24. Rich posted: 09.21.2020 - 5:21 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Dave Despain and Benny Parsons were the commentators. Paques was a NASCAR Southwest Tour racer who had three Sonoma wins on that circuit to his credit so he knew this track well. He would also attempt the last two races of the season at Phoenix and Las Vegas but missed the field both times. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
