Last NASCAR race for West Coast star Dan Press, owner Wayne Spears
replaced him in the iconic #75 Spears truck with a young Kevin Harvick
after this race.

In a rare case, Spears ran two trucks in this race. His normal #75 with
Press and an identically painted #79 for Harvick.

Scot Walters career best 7th place run would match the mark Bob Strait
set at Bristol in 1995, of the best finish in truck series history for
the #37. To date, the mark still stands.
