Terry infact won his first career pole, and crashed the truck doing it. 2. J. Kircher posted: 04.19.2006 - 4:12 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) And a Styrofoam shower was had by all! 3. The #24 and the #17 were also involved in the 5th caution. 6. The brand dropped Kirk and its NASCAR efforts in a company restructuring. The loss of sponsorship led to Kirk's departure from the team after the following race at Nashville. 7. Z posted: 05.12.2020 - 10:01 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Pt I Hornaday's last win of a stretch from 1997-10/1997-19 where Hornaday started outside the T5 once (1997-19) & finished outside the T5 once (1997-11, a race Hornaday ran T5 until caution w/ 12TG). Hornaday scored x6 of his x7 wins for the year during this span (specifically 1997-10/1997-17), this one a more thorough victory than the race prior @ IRP; Jimmy Hensley led all x200 laps of the scheduled distance, but Hornaday nabbed the extra GWC laps & entry into victory lane. Despite all that, Sprague would win the title b/c while Hornaday finished outside the T20 x8 times, Sprague only did so once. Sprague would close out the last x12 races of the season w/ 1W, 9T5, & 12T10. Oddly Sprague wasn't really a race winning factor for most of those races, but a title's a title, no doubt about it. 95/98: Ron Hornaday Jr, Joe Ruttman, Jack Sprague, Rick Carelli, Butch Miller, Mike Bliss, Bob Keselowski (X95), Jimmy Hensley (X95), Bryan Reffner (X95), Michael Dokken (X95), Dave Rezendes (X98) BF: Ron Hornaday (tied) Joe Ruttman (@FLM) Jack Sprague (@FLM, tied) Jay Sauter (@FLM, FR @FLM) Mike Wallace (@FLM, FR @FLM) Butch Miller (@FLM) Bob Keselowski (@FLM, tied) Tony Roper (@FLM, FR @FLM; 2<10 '97, BF-tied) FR: Stacy Compton (@FLM, BF @FLM) Rick Crawford (@FLM, BF-tied) Tony Raines (@FLM, BF @FLM) Terry Cook (@FLM, WF @FLM) Boris Said (@FLM, WF @FLM) Kevin Harvick (@FLM, WF @FLM) OR: Chuck Bown (@FLM) Kenny Irwin (@FLM) Brian Cunningham (@FLM) Tammy Jo Kirk (@FLM, 2LR w/ Geoffrey Bodine) 2LR: Bobby Dotter ('97, w/ Carl Wegner; OR @FLM) LR: Rich Bickle (@FLM, BF-tied) Dave Rezendes (@FLM, WF @FLM) John Blewett III (@FLM, WF @FLM) Michael Dokken ('97, @FLM, w/ Kurt Roehrig) Doug George (@FLM, WF @FLM; OR w/ DeWilton Gezman) Mark Gibson (@FLM, WF @FLM; OR w/ Kenny Allen) WF: Jimmy Hensley (@FLM) Bryan Reffner (@FLM) 10.
