In his Busch Series debut also earlier in 97 he said this is where he wanted to be and hoped someone would give him a chance in a full time ride in the Busch Series or the Truck Series. After this race in victory lane, he said the Truck Series is where he wants to be full time and wanted an owner to give him a shot in a Truck full time. Wonder why nobody did after he won this race? Even though it was a road course he showed he could drive an oval the few times he did. 14. He is the most popular road course ringer after Boris Said, and he is a very polite person. Also, the first start for Eliseo Salazar, who become Chile's first and only NASCAR driver. Salazar is also the only Chilean in F1 and IndyCar. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
