Miller would not surface again in the series until the season finale at Fontana. 4. ch posted: 07.24.2013 - 2:04 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #29 Owner: Bob Keselowski (Teammate to the #1) 5. Randy Tolsma spun in turn 1, and Ron Barfield, Jr. slammed into the passenger side of the 25. The whole right side of Tolsma's truck was caved in, but both drivers were okay. 7. The race ran relatively clean for the majority of it with the exception of a very hard crash by Marty Houston on lap 71 after his tire went down. With Hornaday out of the way, the clear battle for the lead was between Dodges of Dennis Setzer and Randy Tolsma especially in the closing laps. Andy Houston was within a stones throw away as well. Setzer though was a step above Tolsma and appeared to be cruising to victory when Terry Fisher, who spun harmlessly to start the race, spun off the backstretch and clobbered the inside wall with his right front. This set up the first of the G-W-C attempts. Right on the restart, Houston tried to get past Tolsma so that he could have a crack at Setzer but he miscalculated the opening to Tolsma's inside and sent Tolsma into a spin. Randy did his best to try and save it, spinning one way, correcting and appeared to have it straight before spinning it the other way. Barfield, who appeared to have thought Tolsma saved it powered forward but could not correct again when Tolsma spun it again, creating a very hard T-bone crash. Just like the prior race at Bristol with Hensley, NASCAR opted to black flag Houston after the contact with Tolsma, calling it rough driving ending Houston's chance for any fight for the win and even top 3. The drama was not over though. Setzer was worried with a 2nd G-W-C that he did not have enough fuel. Biffle in 2nd though offered no challenge...it was Sauter with right front damage from an earlier brush with the wall who was all over Setzer for the win. Setzer though was able to fend him off and have just enough fuel to take his first superspeedway victory 8.
