#86 Stacy Compton- Royal Crown Cola Edge

Compton was only supposed to run the Royal Crown Cola Edge paint scheme
twice but unexpectedly ran it again here for a third race. It wasn't an
intentional change. Compton and his team planned to run the normal RC
Cola paint scheme on his #86 Dodge but he wiped the truck out in a hard
practice crash. The team rolled out his backup truck, the truck he raced
at Nazareth that still had its special paint scheme from that race, and
he proceeded to put it on the pole and turn in a top-5 run.

RC Cola Edge for the curious was an extra caffeine version of RC Cola.
It was new for 1999, hence the special paint scheme but it didn't catch
on and discontinued shortly afterward in 2000.

Marty Reid and Jeremy Dale were the commentators. Dave Burns and Amy
East were the pit road reporters.
