Had the Hensley-triggered wreck of Contreras not happen, Renfrow would have won it... Too bad he didn't. Great run from him. 7. rm posted: 08.09.2017 - 11:21 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) DNQ info: 35. 51 Ware 36. 85 Garrett - Champion Wheel Co. Ford 8. The crash was triggered by Setzer who came up on the lapped truck of Carlos Contreras and tapped him, spinning him out and into the wall. Setzer lost control as well and hit Hensley on the backstretch. Before that, there was a debris caution that really jumbled the field. Grissom was the leader over Busch before the caution but pitstops really jumbled the field and made it exciting up front. Among those that did not pit (there were 5) were Ruttman, looking for back to back wins, and Renfrow looking for his first career win. As stated they went green and Contreras/Setzer/Hensley crashed setting up another restart with 10 to go. This set up a great Dodge battle for 1st between Renfrow and Ruttman, but as they came up on the lapped truck of McGlynn into the turn, Renfrow tried to squeeze in and not let off the accelerator. He ran out of room and made contact with Ruttman, sending both up the track and Ruttman into a spin where he went down the track and crashed into the 31 of Sean Woodside. Wallace and Busch were able to get by Renfrow in the chaos. Busch appeared to have the fastest truck in the closing laps but Wallace made his truck wide and he snatched the win. Randy Tolsma also had an incredibly fast truck but again he was snake bit and his engine failed in the closing laps 9.
