John Young, despite battling cancer, ran in 3rd place briefly before
settling into 10th in what turned out to be the last race for one of the
greatest tracks to ever run on the CTS circuit.

Bill Lester's first Truck start. The first time two Black People
competed in the same NASCAR race.

Yeah. Hopefully nobody else tries to play the racial card when things
don't go their way.

Also this is Andy Houston's last Truck win. (Winston) West Series
competitor Bobby Hillis (not Hillin) made his debut in this race, and
his 31st place finish was his best in two starts in 2000.

Norfleet was also 11mph slower than Biffle (the pole sitter) in
qualifying and was also black flagged 3 times for not keeping minimum
racing speed. The only reason he even raced was because only 33 trucks
showed up for the 34 truck field.

The last lap Bobby Norfleet was shown as running according to ESPN's
tracker was lap 43, and he was already down 18 laps at that point.
Because of commerical breaks and pit stops, their timing and scoring
wasn't always shown after that, so it's possible Norfleet completed (And
also lost) more laps after that checkpoint.

Marty Reid and Benny Parsons were the commentators. Dave Burns and Amy
East were the pit road reporters.
