The first time two Black People competed in the same NASCAR race. 6. Steve posted: 07.23.2006 - 3:02 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Yeah. Hopefully nobody else tries to play the racial card when things don't go their way. Also this is Andy Houston's last Truck win. (Winston) West Series competitor Bobby Hillis (not Hillin) made his debut in this race, and his 31st place finish was his best in two starts in 2000. 7. Then he cried racism. 14. 1995z71 posted: 07.07.2017 - 9:32 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Norfleet was also 11mph slower than Biffle (the pole sitter) in qualifying and was also black flagged 3 times for not keeping minimum racing speed. The only reason he even raced was because only 33 trucks showed up for the 34 truck field. 15. Because of commerical breaks and pit stops, their timing and scoring wasn't always shown after that, so it's possible Norfleet completed (And also lost) more laps after that checkpoint. 19.
