Biffle was pressured by Ruttman after a late race restart (3-4 laps remaining) and slid up the track. Ruttman drove underneath and held off Biffle for the win. 2. biffle16 posted: 03.31.2007 - 6:43 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I wasn't mad after this race at all. Ruttman is a true class act. :) 3. biffle16 posted: 05.26.2007 - 1:03 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Also, other than Rick Carelli's win at Richmond the next week, this was his only top-5 that year. 4. RaceFanX posted: 09.03.2013 - 6:10 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The #32 Ford truck was to be run by Scott Pruett, making what would have been his first (and only) Truck start, but Pruett was a regular in the NASCAR Cup series in 2000 and too banged up from a crash the night before in Bristol to make the call. Fellow road racer (and his PPI team's Busch series driver) Anthony Lazzaro pinch hit for Pruett who to date has not run a race in this series. As a result Lazzaro instead made his only Truck series start in the black #32 Kenmore Ford (taking its number and letting from Pruett's Tide Cup car) but would have a rough day including contact that spun Lance Norick on his way to a finish outside the top-20. 10. rm posted: 08.09.2017 - 11:43 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) DNQ info: 35. 93 Edwards 36. 89 Boyd 37. 33 Payne 38. 21 Neuenberger 39. 30 Stewart 40. 23 Bonifield 41. 62 Gaughan (with a time of over 50 seconds, he probably crashed on his qualifying lap) 11. Petty drove it to a top 20 finish despite having pretty massive damage from a mid race collision with Larry Gunselman The track raced very similar to Memphis with a bit less banking. The race was marred with a lot of yellow flags but after the back to back crashes of Hensley, it set up for a pretty thrilling battle between Biffle and Ruttman in the closing laps Brad Payne attempted his only race of his truck career here but failed to qualify 12.
