This was Carelli's only win in a Ford, 2000 was the only year he raced F-150s. This was Carelli's last NASCAR triumph in any series but he did win again after this. Just under three years later he scored a GTS class win in a Grand-Am race at Watkins Glen racing a Corvette. 9.
