It's a real shame all around" Gunselman: Reffner x2 trucks ahead, hit the brakes & got hit from behind; "I love this racetrack but I just can't catch a break @ this place" Gary Showalter helped Gunselmam set up for this one in qualifying & Gunselman unfortunately didn't get to see the fruit of those efforts. C2: Heavy damage again; Briggs fired up, just as before NASCAR trucks were gonna tow him (& w/ an ambulance on-track for Briggs) - Norris solo spin, Briggs hit from behind, Gibbs got by low Norris: [What Happened] "I don't know, I was going underneath the #8 truck coming out of 2 & I don't know if there was still some oil on track or whatever - my back end just came around..." He was certainly good at finishing out races and being consistently up front to take advantage if something happened to someone else. In his 2003 championship season, he had only 1 win and 49 laps led, but only finished outside the top 10 on 3 occasions and had an average finish of 6.2. 7. He absolutely dominated this race from the pole, leading 128/146 laps (or 192/219 miles). But he ends up a lap down in 13th. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
