Was this win in the truck the team dubbed "Droopy Dog"? 3. CBASS posted: 04.23.2012 - 10:56 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sponsors (Using TruckSeries.com's photos) #08 Conquer Terrorism 4. Setzer ran the same Truck that won @M'ville, & was one of a small # of drivers that didn't shift gears (usually @GT the younger drivers wouldn't shift but at the expense of ~2/10ths a sec) C2 for fluid was from Travis Kvapil; both he & Robert Pressley, first Pressley then Kvapil, had Pinion Gear lockups that necessitated both switching driveshafts/gears - Jon Wood (5th) was directly behind Kvapil when it happened & wound up w/ a windshield covered in oil -Between the oil & a REMAX Series race ran prior to this one (REMAX ran a Hoosier compound that differed from Trucks), the conditions were a day-long point of discussion- This race marked the 4th different winner in as many races in Trucks, a streak extended to x5 before being broke by Ted Musgrave. It also marked the 5th straight different winner @GT, a streak that reached x8 before being snapped, by Ted Musgrave. x3 drivers almost ran every race @GT during its original 98/10 running, those being Cook (X10), Setzer (X09), & Crawford (X10) -21st of x317 starts, Brendan Gaughan- BF: Terry Cook (@GT, Car-Tied) -122nd of x314 starts; Only LL @GT- Jason Leffler ('02-Tied, @GT-Tied/FR@) -5th of x56 starts; Only LL @GT- Mike Bliss (@GT) -126th of x206 starts; Only LL @GT- Rick Crawford (@GT-Tied, 2T5@) -130th of x336 starts- Jon Wood (@GT/FR@; 2BF '02) -20th of x119 starts; Only LL @GT- Lance Norick (@GT/LR@; 2T10 '02) -136th of x154 starts; Finished 9th/14th every race ran @GT- Lance Hooper ('02, w/ Ware, @GT/2R@) -35th of x80 starts- Bobby Dotter (@GT/2&LR@, OT20@) -39th of x73 starts- Carlos Contreras (@GT/LR@) -52nd of x75 starts- Loni Richardson ('02, @GT/2&LR@; 2T30-Car) -7th of x19 starts- 2BF: David Starr (@GT; FT5 @GT& w/ Spears) -51st of x317 starts- Dennis Setzer (@GT) -99th of x314 starts; Most LL @GT- Brian Rose (Car-Tied; OR @GT) -19th of x41 starts- OR: Steve Portenga (@GT) -30th of x48 starts- Trent Owens (@GT; 2WF '02) -9th of x12 starts- Jason Small (@GT; 2NT20 '02) -11th of x36 starts- Morgan Shepherd (@GT; WF-Tied Car) -23rd of x57 starts- [Don Fauerbach/OWN] FR: Dana White ('02/@GT, w/ Bonifield; BF @GT) -7th of x27 starts- Stan Boyd ('02, 2LR/2WF @GT) -23rd of x47 starts- 2R: Matt Crafton (@GT; FT10 '02) -29th career start, 13th T10- Bill Lester (@GT, 2T20 '02) -10th of x142 starts- Angie Wilson (OR @GT, 2BF-Tied Car) Aaron Daniel (FR/2WF '02; FR/WF @GT, OR w/ Troxell) 2LR: Randy MacDonald (@GT/WF@; 2NT20 '02) -49th of x94 starts; FR @GT since sitting out rem.
