The 3rd race @DV for Trucks would see its 3rd different winner, as Musgrave becomes the 1st repeat winner of the '02 season. This was Musgrave's 2nd of x3 wins in '02 (9th/17 Career), & 6th of an eventual x11 times winning by leading the most laps. Dover would see x11 different winners in its first x11 races, a streak snapped by Kyle Busch & then Johnny Sauter, who won each year from 2017/2019. This race also extended David Starr's streak of T10s to open '02 season, the last driver TTP to have a perfect slate; it would ultimately reach x9 races. It also marked Randy MacDonald's return to Dover after sitting out '01 after Daytona on account of surgery to alleviate spinal stenosis. -101st of x314 Starts, Dennis Setzer- BF: Ted Musgrave (@DV, Car-Tied) -33rd of x192 Starts- Robert Pressley (@DV/FR@; 2BF-Tied Car) -6th of x69 Starts- Bobby Dotter (@DV/LR@) -41st of x73 Starts- Michael Ritch ('02-Tied/2R '02; OR @DV, 2BF-Tied Car) Jerry Hill ('02-Tied, @DV/2&LR@; FT20 '02, 2BF-Tied Car) -18th of x58 Starts- Tom Powers ('02-Tied, @DV/2&LR@; FT20 '02) -23rd of x27 Starts- Larry Gunselman ('02, @DV/FR@, w/ Troxell - 2&LR w/, LR '02) -25th of x28 Starts- 2BF: Rick Crawford ('02-Tied/@DV-Tied) -132nd of x336 Starts- Bill Lester ('02, @DV/FR@) -12th of x142 Starts- FT10: Terry Cook (@DV) -124th of x314 Starts- WF: Randy MacDonald (@DV-Tied/2&2LR@) -51st of x94 Starts- Carlos Contreras (@DV/LR@; 2NT20 '02) -54th of x75 Starts- Rodney Sawyers (@DV/2&LR@; 2WF-Tied '02) Morgan Shepherd (@DV/2R@) -25th of x57 Starts- Ken Schrader ('02-Tied, @DV-Tied; FNT30 '02) -30th of x105 Starts- Angie Wilson Lance Norick ('02, Car-Tied, @DV/LR@) -138th of x154 Starts- FR: David Starr (@DV/2BF@) -53rd of x317 Starts- Mike Bliss (@DV/2BF@-Tied) -128th of x206 Starts- Brendan Gaughan (@DV/2BF@-Tied) -23rd of x217 Starts- Tom Carey Jr ('02, w/ Steve Prescott; 2&LR @DV) Jason Leffler (@DV/WF@) -7th of x56 Starts- Jon Wood (@DV/WF@; 2NT20 '02) -22nd of x119 Starts- Stan Boyd (@DV/WF@; 2NT30 '02, 2&LR w/ Richardson) -25th of x47 Starts- 2R: Travis Kvapil (@DV/2WF@-Tied) -30th of x197* Starts- Matt Crafton (@DV/2WF@) -31st Career Start- 2LR: Trent Owens (2BF-Tied; OR @DV) Lance Hooper (@DV/2BF@-Tied) -37th of x80 Starts- Jerry Miller (2WF, 2&2LR @DV) LR: Coy Gibbs (@DV/2BF@) -42nd of x58 Starts- Carl Long (w/ Dixon, 2BF w/; FR/2BF @DV, FR/BF '02) -5th of x20 Starts- OR: Steve Portenga (@DV) -32nd of x48 Starts- Jason Small (@DV) -13th of x36 Starts- Ronnie Hornaday ('02, @DV, w/ Bonifield; 2LT30-Car) Brian Rose (@DV; 2NT20 '02) -21st of x41 Starts- FDNQ: Loni Richardson ('02, @DV/OA@) LDNQ: Donnie Neuenberger (ODNQ '02) ODNQ: Phil Bonifield (@DV/2ATT@) Bob Coffey (@DV/OA@) 7.
