So I'm guessing Mike Bliss won on fuel mileage? How else can it explain
his large margin of victory?

Bliss was actually badly bruised on his face, complete with a giant
white bandage on his forehead during this race. He ran headfirst into a
steel pole trying to catch a ball during an ESPN vs Truck Series Drivers
softball charity game. Didn't slow him during the race one bit though.

Bliss didn't win it on fuel mileage, he just destroyed the whole field
and had amassed that lead over the final green flag run of 76 laps.

Horn did indeed have a great qualifying run but a mechanical issue right
from the get go made him a moving road block from the drop of the green
flag, which really was a shame

This race was nearly a fuel milage race, had a caution come exactly at
the right time Dennis Setzer and Coy Gibbs would have had almost the
entire field lapped due to pit strategy attempts to win the race. This
was pretty much the only chance anyone had to beat Bliss but he
destroyed the field, injuries and all

This would be the last top 10 for Original 1995 Truck Series alum Steve
Portenga

Dr. Jerry Punch and Phil Parsons were the commentators. Ray Dunlap and
Amy East were the pit road reporters.
