Final win for Robert Pressley on an all Dodge weekend. Hank Parker Jr. won at Pikes Peak, and Awesome Bill Elliott won a darkness-shortened race at Pocono. 2. Robert Pressley thanks his new sponsor with a dominant win. This would be the only race with Square D is the sole sponsor as Dickies clothing would join up after this race to split sponsorship. 3. But it wasnt easy. Jason Leffler was catching him in the closing laps and was trying dang hard to catch his draft on the last lap but Pressley was just too strong and he won big for Dodge. Ted Musgrave was the points leader going into the race but an early engine failure devastated their points lead, dropping them to 3rd in the standings. Mr Consistency, David Starr, moved up to 2nd in the standings, showing the Spears Manufacturing team their most successful season to this date while Mike Bliss who continued to surge from Milwaukee claimed the points lead. 5.
