Bobby Hamilton was involved in a last lap crash which put him out of Cup
competition for 5 races. Short track ace Brian Ross finished 31st after
rear end trouble in his 2nd Truck start.

Jason Leffler won his 8th and final pole of 2002, which easily led the
season and was double the amount that 2nd place Mike Bliss won (4).

Leffler also led the season with a 3.9 average start, qualifying no
worse than 8th all year.

The race title needs to be changed from Richmond is for Lovers 200 to
Virginia is for Lovers 200.

Adam Clarke makes his Truck series debut and becomes the series'
first-ever Australian racer in the process...however it would prove to
be a rough night for the Victorian racer as he helped bring out two
cautions.
