It's bad enough to lose a race on the last lap, but the truck was pretty much destroyed. Strange, but this was the only win in 2003 for eventual points champ Travis Kvapil. 3. Different circumstances, but the same result. 4. They'll be in second, the leader has a miscue, and boom! They're in victory lane, then the championship! Must be karma. 5. the Great Dave posted: 02.19.2009 - 8:40 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Johnny Sauter had sponsorship from Bugles for this race 6. 18fan posted: 03.09.2009 - 5:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Brandon, was that comment supposed to mean that you were happy to see Harvick crash? 7. b4il3y posted: 10.06.2010 - 3:22 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I sat in turn 4 at this race...I thought Harvick was gonna tear the wall down as hard as he hit. Pressley had the fastest car at the end of the race but was just too far back to do anything. 8. Why did Jim Smith fire Leffler despite his success...Leffler could've been a great truck driver if he'd had more full-season opportunities there rather than in Busch 12. Despite spending 2002 & 2003 as a solid midfield driver and amassing 17 top 10 finishes over those 47 races, Matt didn't score a single top 5 until 2004, by which time he had 29 top 10s to his name. When Crafton returned to the ThorSport team in 2005, they switched to the hi-vis yellow scheme they use to this day. 18. He would match this finish the very next race at Richmond. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
