Bill Lester and Hank Parker Jr. ran Toyotas, and Steadman Marlin ran a Ford. 2. Christopher Cßdiz posted: 08.22.2005 - 3:49 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Indeed... this page is quite screwed up :( 3. Toyota makes its NASCAR debut and almost wins right out-of-the-box. 4. J. Rather than going through the grass, the drivers turned down pit lane and drove 180 mph through the pits! NASCAR didn't penalize them since they were avoiding an accident (I guess it wasn't a "rule" that you had to slow down even when you're missing a wreck in 2004) and Carl Edwards went on to win. 8. The Japanese brand had been racing its zippy little Toyota Celica sports car in the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series for a few years (having lots of success with Robert Huffman who moved up with them for 2004) before they moved up to Trucks and later Cup and Busch0. 10. Pretty surprising he has never won at Daytona or Talladega neither in Cup, nor in Xfinity. And overall, still pretty interesting that the biggest Buschwhackers of all times (Kyle Busch, Mark Martin, Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski) in Xfinity weren't dominant almost at all on superspeedway tracks. Kyle has only one win at Daytona in 2007 and one win at Talladega in 2011. Carl is completely winless despite running all the races from 2005 to 2011 and missing just one in 2011 at Road America. Brad has only one win at Talladega in 2011. On the other hand, he has 4 Talladega wins and one Daytona win in Cup. Kevin has only one win at Daytona in 2007 despite his pretty long Xfinity career. And Mark has only one win at Talladega in 1997. 16. It isn't always the best cars that win, and you can be taken out anywhere at any time. 18. Mannoroth posted: 12.11.2016 - 11:35 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) 16.
