The first win for Toyota in the Truck Series and you know the TRD brass
had to love winning their first race in Michigan, the headquarters for
American automobiles.

I hate Toyota but I like Kvapil so im split on this win also Johnny
Benson comes out 4th in his first race for Bill Davis.

This race was a marker of the beginning of the end for true American
stock car racing. I like Kvapil too, so it was hard to watch. I liked
how the #24 team folded at the end of the season because the owner was
some young punk ass kid who had more money than brains. Funny how the
Line-X truck won the Line-X race at the American automakers home track.

Phil Bonifeld started 70 truck races in his career and DNFd in 66 of them.

People like you who think that NASCAR races are fixed ("Funny how the
Line-X truck won the Line-X race at the American automakers home
track.") are not very smart.

Where did I say this one was fixed? I just said it was funny that the
sponsor's truck won the sponsor's race.

It didn't count but Ted Musgrave actually passed Kvapil on the last lap
and crossed the finish line first. it didn't count, the caution came out
due to David Reutimann's last lap crash

The commentators were Rick Allen, Phil Parsons and Chad Little. The pit
road reporters were Ray Dunlap and Wendy Venturini.
