Johnny Sauter learned his lesson for the following nights BUSCH race.
Sauter dominated the race but did not pit with 60 laps to go, trying to
race with only one pit stop. Kvapil tried working Sauter's back for laps
but on the white flag, those two made contact, giving the lead and the
win to Chaffin. Dennis Setzer, crashed 200 ft. before the finish line
and lost 5 positions
Notes: Michael Waltrip drove his first race for Andy Petree. He finished
33rd. Butch Miller drove a Timber Wolf truck for Ken Weaver. He finished
24th. Denny Hamlin made his truck debut with EJP and finished 10th

Great finish and a tough break for Johnny Sauter who dominated both
races at IRP that weekend, but came away with nothing.

Also, Kyle Busch made his return to the Truck Series.

Despite winning two events on the season and placing as high as fourth
in the standings at one point, Chaffin was released so that Chase
Montgomery's father could bankroll his son in that No. 18 truck.

Doesn't make much sense to me.

In this race, Johnny Sauter dominated,
but lost because he didn't get tires.

In the next night's Busch race, he again dominated, but lost by getting
tires and not making up the time.

I guess that's what you get when you shove Matt Kenseth out of the way
to win at Richmond.

Montgomery was a total bust. I don't think he even recorded one top ten.
That move by BHR ruined Chaffin's career.

commentary the last few laps was epic.

Most recent race attempted for truck #26 until this year. Tyler Ankrum
will drive a GMS truck numbered 26.

The commentators were Rick Allen, Phil Parsons and Kenny Wallace. The
pit road reporters were Ray Dunlap and Wendy Venturini.
