Good job done by Shane Hmiel. What a great story for him to come back
into NASCAR at the beginning of the year and get his first major NASCAR
win. Congratulations, Shane Hmiel!!!

Mike Skinner made his debut in a Bill Davis fielded Tundra after taking
his pickings from the Alexander Meshkin operation - he won the pole and
flexed some muscle but faded in the race to an usually dominant Steve
Park, but as the race waned down Todd Bodine and Shane Hmiel dueled for
the checkered in a stirring finish, with Hmiel coming out on top and
then thrusting his helmet into the stands elated with his victory and
true return to the upper echelon of motor racing.

It's amazing just how far Hmiel has fallen, and how he managed to, once
again, kill any chance he had for a promising career. To think that
right after this race I was hoping he would do well, and then after
Bristol's Sportsman race of this year I thought he was an arrogant jerk
who could use being taken down a peg.

this will be Hmiel's only NASCAR victory as he has failed a 3rd drug
test and has been banned for life

Hmiel had his chance and he blew it. He needs help if he win't get off
whatever he is on.

That helmet is now very valuable.

Miller4Prez6, Shane is no longer in NA$CAR, and even if he was, why
would you be "glad that pothead is a danger on the track"?

Something I don't understand is why Shane Sieg was released from Green
Light Racing. He was running well, considering the equipment he had.

J.R. Patton makes his debut with an underfunded team, finishing 15th.

^^My boy Aric Almirola certainly put an end to that fact, winning at
Dover & Michigan in 2010.

Man..how many owners did Xpress Motorspors go through....Joey Coulter's
dad is listed as the owner of the #16 here.
