Congrats to Musgrave on a dominating win. But don't forget, Ron Hornaday
Jr. drove just several days after getting a ruptured appendix removed,
and never gave the driving keys over to Tony Raines. Hornaday looked
like he was gonna finish 2nd, but the motor let go w/ about 15 to go.
Hornaday's a tough dude!!!

Jack Sprague cuts down a tire in the waning laps, going from the
top-five all the way back to twentieth.

Musgrave dominates; it looked like Hornaday might've had something for
him at the last restart, but his motor expired before we could find out.

David Starr, Reutimann, and several other trucks having good runs were
caught a lap down after a caution flew during a cycle of green flag pit
stops.

Ultra Motorsports wins there 35th and final race, I have no clue why
they shut down after winning a championship

Believe it or not, Jimmy Smith could not secure a sponsor for the 1
truck, as Mopar would leave the team after 2005. He was planning on
switching to Fords, but he still could not find sponsorship, so he had
to pull out, and his coveted Top 30 owner point slots were bought by
Robert Richardson (#1) and Ray Evernham (#98 from #2). I believe the #2
truck was the only entry to start every Truck race.

Best part of this race was either Musgrave winning (he used to drive for
Roush) or Horny blowing his engine. :)

This ended up being Musgrave's only win during his championship season
and his last for about two years or so.

My first ever NASCAR race! Musgrave spanked the field, but I still had a
great time.

Come to think of it, I got to witness a lot of the heyday of Craftsman
Truck racing that night watching Musgrave, Setzer, Skinner, Crawford,
Hamilton, Bodine, Benson, Sprague, Starr, Cook, Gaughan, and Hornaday. I
also got to watch future Cup champion Brad Keselowski, Jimmy Kite, and
the ever-frigthening Shigeaki Hattori.

The commentators for the race were Rick Allen and Phil Parsons while Ray
Dunlap and Wendy Venturini were on pit road.

The 24 was owned by Rob Furguson like every other race that year.
