Mike Skinner denied yet another victory but awesome to see David
Reutimann get his first truck series win at Nashville where his owner DW
said start your engines and handed him the trophy.

Former CART and IRL driver Shigeaki Hattori makes his 10th and final
appearence in the Truck series (and NASCAR in general for that matter).
Hattori has not run any major events in the US since.

Last time Shigge got jiggy in the trucks and it came to a fitting
ending. He now owns a team in the ARCA RE/MAX Series that is driven by
Germain Racing development drivers. Former drivers have been Sean
Caisse, Justin Marks, and Chrissy Wallace. Michael Annett is the current
driver.

David Reutimann's long-awaited triumph here proved to be his only NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series win.

For owner Darrell Waltrip this was his #17 team's final win and the only
victory after the team had been revived as part of Toyota's new NASCAR
Truck series program in 2004. The team's last victory before this one
came all the way back at Martinsville in 1997 when Rich Bickle (who as
noted by coincidence was making his last Truck start in this one) won
for DW just a few races before the team's original incarnation had to
shut down due to sponsorship woes.
