Great runs for Todd Kluever (second), Brandon Whitt (third, Willie Allen
(sixth in his CTS debut), and Timothy Peters (eighth).

Ricky Craven becomes the latest driver to have won in all three of
NASCAR's top series. Also accomplishing Roush's first truck win since
Carl Edwards won at Bristol last summer.

Sorry to see DW go. He was always my favorite, and I'm beating myself up
right now over missing this race. :'(

Also, 2-time winner "Tiger" Tom Pistone's grandson(I believe) made his
NASCAR debut in this race.

Also this isn't DW's last race he's running the Aaron's Dream Machine at
Martinsville in the Busch Series on July 22nd.

Yeah, what happened to Ricky? He was competitive in trucks in 2005, and
then he just disappeared. Maybe he and Steve Park have a vanishing pact!

Impressive debut for 2007 Truck Series Rookie of The Year Willie Allen.
This race was also the best career showing by Timothy Peters.

Timothy Peters later won a Truck race at Martinsville in 2009.

DW ran one race after this, he did the one-off Busch race at
Martinsville in 2006 driving the Aaron's Dream Machine

1-2 finish for Roush Racing with the #99 and the #50. Final NASCAR win
for Craven, the vet, and first top-2 for Kluever, the youngster. Roush
used to have dominant programs in the Truck Series from about 1997
through 2008.

Actually Alex, this was the last of three 2nd place finishes for Todd
Kluever, with the first one being at Kansas and the second at IRP.

Alex, Roush's truck program in 2005 was very poor. Two trucks ran the
full season and neither finished top 12 in points, which is pretty
unacceptable. This partly could have been due to a lack of talent
driving the trucks, though, as both Craven and Kleuver were questionable.

Yeah that first and second place finish in the very race you're
commenting on definitely means their talent's questionable.

Craven's talent was unquestionable. He was fifth in points before they
switched crew chiefs on him. Maybe that was the problem in 2005.

Second and last CWTS race, where Kyle Busch raced against Darrell
Waltrip. However, Waltrip's driving career began in 1959, which is more
than 25 years before Kyle Busch was born - insane.

This field was just stacked with talent from across several generations
of NASCAR drivers, the Truck Series in the early to mid 2000s was a
great mix of guys on their both up and down the ladder and this one
shows it. Just focusing on the higher level champions you've got Ricky
Craven, Ted Musgrave, Kyle Busch, Ron Hornaday, Jr., Todd Bodine, Matt
Crafton, Darrell Waltrip, Bobby Hamilton, Johnny Benson, Jr., Brad
Keselowski, Bobby Labonte, Brendan Gaughan, Jimmy Spencer, Jack Sprague,
and Mike Skinner all on the same track at the same time.
