Also congratulations are in order to Jack Sprague who managed a top-ten points finish in two different rides, Todd Kluever on an excellent rookie season, Johnny Benson for a remarkable comeback year, and last but not least to Erin Crocker, who finally finished a race! ;) 2. There's another comeback for ya. 3. Jake posted: 11.20.2005 - 3:01 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Congrats to Ted Musgrave and Jim Smith. Also to Todd Bodine, he's gonna be tough in 2006. 4. Let's all applaud and salute them as well. 7. At times this season he showed flashes of brilliance, but he's been snakebit all year. He also managed to qualify a Mike Waltrip Chevrolet in the Grand National event later that same day. Bill Lester gets better and better each year. It's good to see him finally getting some recognition. If that team stays together, I would not be surprised to see him contend for a victory at a wide, fast track like Michigan. He definitely knows how to go fast -- the key to harnessing Bill's talent will be to throttle him back. He definitely runs his car into the ground often. Deborah Renshaw shouldn't be on the track at all, not after what happened at Charlotte now three years ago with Eric Martin. I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, but watching her just plow straight into East at Phoenix ... makes you wonder. 8. With Ultra Motorsports gone and BHR going downhill after Bobby Hamilton, Sr. catching cancer (and, unfortuantley, dieing), Dodge will now probably never be the same as it was between the early 90's and mid 2000's. 23. I've waited 9 years for this!" While Musgrave did not win the 2003 championship, he and Jim Smith stuck together and Musgrave finally won Jim Smith's long-awaited title at the end of this race, 2 years later. Smith then closed down the team prior to the 2006 season. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
