Good to see that, as it's been far too long. Ted Musgrave was running near the front when he had mechanical problems. Johnny Benson's tire problems prevented him from taking advantage of Todd Bodine's misfortune. A.J. Allmendinger leads 5 laps after DNQ-ing for the Cup race, then wrecks, and Kelly Bires makes his NASCAR debut. 2. race_fan posted: 10.30.2006 - 1:31 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Chad McCumbee had a good run. 3. Still great to see a fellow Oregonian win, though. Mike stays on the list with Todd Bodine, Kurt Busch, Ricky Craven, Carl Edwards, Bobby Hamilton, Shane Hmiel, Ron Hornaday, the late Kenny Irwin Jr., Travis Kvapil, Tony Raines, Scott Riggs, and Jay Sauter who have all won in each season they have raced the entire Truck Series schedule. However, Ted Musgrave and Dennis Setzer are in danger of being erased from that list, so hurry up, guys! Chad McCumbee tied his best finish if 7th from Nashville. He was the subject of a cool underdog segment on the SPEED Channel pre-race show; last week they highlighted J.C. Stout. Scott Lagasse Jr. finished 19th, one spot better than his best which was at Mansfield. Englishman John Mickel finished 20th. 4. At the time of this post he hadn't run in the series since 2009 but he's still active in NASCAR competition so you never know... 8.
