First oval track race I can recall for which the Bud Pole Award was won
by nearly 4 tenths of a second. Johnny B good!

I think Skinner, being Benson's teammate, should have been more patient
with him by allowing him to lead the opening lap. Yeah, Mike's in a
battle to stay in the Top 10, and understandably wanted the 5 points,
but the championship is much more important at this time. Fortunately,
Johnny came back from 35th to 1st before Lap 120. His comeback reminded
me of what Denny Hamlin did at Pocono in June. The Onion now needs to
finish 28th or better at Homestead.

I'm sorry, that information is a week old. In a day or two it will be
updated.

It was cool to see #7 with Hooters sponsorship (reminiscent of Alan
Kulwicki, the inaugural Phoenix winner).

No. 08 truck was Chevrolet as we can see here:
