Bowyer gets spun by Mike Skinner as Skinner goes on to win.

Awesome run by the Wood Brothers/JTG trucks, bringing it home in the
top-ten. Kelly Bires has a great run in just his fourth race.

Toyota continues its dominance in the Truck Series. Joey Clanton and
Kelly Bires have solid top 10 finishes. While Aaron Fike and Willie
Allen also have solid top 15's. A track record for cautions was set in
this race.

Mike Skinner dominates from the pole, and sold top 10s for Joey Clanton
and Kelly Bires.

Most boring Truck finish at Atlanta.

Kelly Bires: first Top 10 (10th) for the 2006 ASA Late Model Champ
Blake Bjorlund: new best Truck finish (20th)
Matt Crafton: best career finish (3rd; 5th time), 150th start
Rick Crawford: 250th start (4th)
Mike Skinner: 30th career Pole (30th), first time he's been the point
leader since August 1996 at Flemington
Jack Sprague: 250th start (23rd)

Skinner finally got his second Atlanta victory (following up his
Nationwide win in 1999) after some hard luck. He of course had his best
Cup race of his career in the 2000 Cracker Barrel 500 before blowing a
motor late, setting up the thrilling finish between Earnhardt and Bobby
Labonte. Then in the inaugural 200-mile Truck race, he led the most laps
before coming up on the short end of a thrilling duel of his own with
Bobby Hamilton, which sent his truck spinning through the grass. A year
later, he was leading when he crashed with a blown right front tire less
than 40 laps into the race.

Rick Allen, Phil Parsons and Michael Waltrip were the commentators. Ray
Dunlap and Adam Alexander were the pit road reporters. Krista Voda was
the host of the thirty minute pre-race show along with Todd Kluever.
