Solid run for Travis Kvapil. 2. Anonymous posted: 07.15.2007 - 5:18 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Stupid Truck whackers... Oh wait, Skinner isn't a Truck whacker? Well, you can't tell! 3. Joey Clanton is doing a pretty solid job this year, he gets another top 10 in 7th. Plus, Bill Lester gets his first top 10 since Homestead 2005, good 8th place run for him. 8. When he finished 7th at Bristol in August 2006, it was the first of 21 Top 10s he would score in the next 22 races (Homestead ended with a crash). He scored 3615 points, averaging over 160 points each race in that span (164.3). He led 1035 of those 3557 laps (29%), and completed 3437 of them (96.6%). Perhaps not the greatest streak of races ever, but certainly remarkable! 11. David Green gets his lone top five finish in 11 career Truck Series starts. This was Red Horse Racing's first race after Aaron Fike's suspension from NASCAR, with Green helping the team post back-to-back 5th place finishes in spite of the original driver's suspension. This was also Ryan Mathews' lone Truck Series top five finish, as well as his final top ten in 19 Truck Series starts. Final top ten finish for Bill Lester as well, who was released from Billy Ballew Motorsports just two races later. 13.
