Lester went back to road racing after this and would have some success racing GT cars in Grand-Am competition. 9. The #23 Toyota he wrecked here ended up sitting in the weeds with its roof cut down at Mid-Ohio of all places, possibly having been used as a Jaws of Life training vehicle by rescue crews judging by comments after nascarman put a picture of it up on Twitter. 10.
