Everyone was in an uproar after California when Mark Martin didn't get
to steal another trophy and paycheck. I wonder what the reaction to a
Cup driver wrecking a truck regular will be? I'll bet it will be just a
racing deal. Kvapil doesn't have room to complain either having wrecked
Keselowski at Memphis.

Only the third time this year that the most-lap-leader finished outside
of the top ten (Martin 23rd at California, Crawford 23rd at Mansfield).

Yes, Kvapil spun out Bodine on the backstretch after Kyle Busch spun
Kvapil out. I was at the race, everyone was cheering like crazy when
Busch spun out. Bill Lester wasn't in the race due to temporary lack of
sponsorship. The racing was better than usual, I saw Bodine and Sprague
make many passes on the outside.

This was the first major NASCAR race at Bristol after the track's 2007
resurfacing that transitioned the speedway into a multi-groove track. It
ultimately wouldn't be popular with fans but the side-by-side racing
here was pretty good.

Timothy Peters' second and final Truck start of 2007 sees his Morgan
Dollar team debut a new sponsorship from Tahoe Smokeless Tobacco only
for him to end up spinning into the wall on the opening lap after
contact with Joey Clanton. The damage eventually ended his day, he did
not make any further starts in 2007.

Ryan Matthews crashed out of fourth position early in this race.

Shane Seig makes his first start in the Truck series since 2004.

Mark Martin's third here, coming in a F-150 sponsored by his Ford
dealer, was his final Truck series podium finish.

Funny how Shane Sieg's sponsor for this race was an anti-drug company
and now he's banned from NASCAR for violating the drug policy.

First caution should be #46 accident, not #45 spun, as there was no #45
in this race.

This was Johnny Benson, Jr.'s seventh Truck series win but his first on
a short track. Three of Benson's 14 Truck series wins ultimately came on
bullrings.

Brendan Gaughan's best race of 2007, starting 2nd and finishing 2nd
after leading 25 laps. The runner-up tied his own mark from the finale
last year of best finish for the #77 in series history. He would again
match the mark with the number at Texas this same year, and it would
later be tied in 2014 by German Quiroga twice.
