Great to see McCumbee, Marks, Scott, and the BHR-VA trucks finish in the
top-ten. Also, a great run for the 28 truck.

That lap 19 crash was nasty. PJ Jones' truck was a fireball. How he kept
driving that thing is beyond me.

Fun fact for the day: Five of the drivers in this race also ran in the
very first Truck race in Phoenix in 1995: Mike Skinner, Ron Hornaday,
Johnny Benson, Jack Sprague, and Mike Bliss.

Sitting on the front strech, I was really worried about PJ Jones, since
his accident looked really bad. But knowing that he is okay, seeing the
car on fire is a memory I will have for the rest of my life.

Actually they ran a 2nd truck in 2007 with David Starr. Greg Pollex was
listed as the owner though to use his owner points, but it was a Circle
Bar truck.

Joey Clanton's final NASCAR start, he was fired by Jack Roush after this
race for causing the accident that took himself and Colin Braun out of
the race. The rest of the season would see Travis Kvapil, Bobby East,
John Wes Townley, and Jamie McMurray pilot the vehicle, with East
winning a pole at IRP and Kvapil earning top 5s at Dover and New Hampshire

Rick Allen, Phil Parsons and Michael Waltrip were the commentators. Ray
Dunlap and Adam Alexander were the pit road reporters. Krista Voda was
the host of the thirty minute pre-race show.
