Maybe, but not really, he can salvage Bill Davis Racing and make something of it in Cup. 7. Maybe Bill Davis and Red Bull could sorta merge to get Speed into the 22 car. If he continues to show improvement it could be next year, as CAT is leaving as the 22 sponsor. This guy doesnt want to be rushed, but he sure is good, good luck to him. 11. But I agree, I think Cat will be moving to a more competitive team. 12. Willy on Wheels posted: 06.02.2008 - 11:54 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) AJ Allmendinger is not doing good now. He is quite disappointing, considering how much his teammate Brian Vickers and Toyota in general has improved. I don't know if Blaney is leaving BDR, since he got another top ten at Dover. 13. Woodbridge posted: 06.03.2008 - 4:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I'd hate to see Blaney leave BDR. He's a great driver with terrible luck.. I think he can win under the right circumstances. Also, AJ Allmendinger isn't doing bad. He's been in position for several top 20 finishes but had SOMETHING go wrong almost every time he even sniffs the front. He'll turn the corner and nail down some top 10s before the season is out. I like Scott Speed and look forward to him racking up victories in Cup starting hopefully this year! 14. It was also the first appearance of the season for Lafferty Motorsports '89'. 15. Red Bull is a underrated team who should start winning races soon. Congratulations Scott, on posting this victory! Do us Red Bull guys good;) 16. He spent a few laps in the garage area as the crew fixed it. After getting back out on the track he was still the fastest truck and even got a few laps back. 17. AJ Allmendinger WAS doing good in the 84, especially right before they stupidly released him. He drove the car in the top-35 from way outside in the owner's points, only for Red Bull to shitcan him for Speed, who dropped it right back out and his finishes are 10x worse than AJ's were in his rookie year. This win was good and all for Scott, but as we've seen, it meant in NO WAY whatsoever he would be a good Cup driver. 18.
