Well deserved first win of the season for Erik. Also, another great run for the #22 Red Bull driven by Speed. 2. What a finish though! 3. SK posted: 06.14.2008 - 7:02 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) What a finish! Too bad for Marc Mitchell; that was the best run I'd seen out of the #15 truck since Shane Hmiel won in it a few years ago. Rick Markle makes his first CTS start since the season-opener at Homestead...in 1996! (unfortunately, he finished second-from-last in both races.) 4. He is a dirty driver and always have been but when a driver races him like that, he whines like a baby.I have more respect for Kyle Busch because while all of the idiots boo or throw crap at him he takes it in stride. Like him or not, he is a racer that RACES hard. There is no giving up with him. 5. Clayton posted: 06.14.2008 - 11:13 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) IDK how long you have watched racing, but anyone would have been complaining today for what Busch did to him!! Hornaday is a very good and CLEAN driver!! I can't remember at all the last time he wrecked someone. Kyle Busch is very talented but he doesn't use his head A LOT and today was him being an idiot! No reason to do that!! He came WAY up the track and took out Hornaday. If Hornaday wasn't mad, I would question if he was human!! I would have been pissed too!! I hope Ron Hornaday wrecks Kyle next week, and we'll see Kyle cry like a 5 year old and At least Hornaday stood up like a man and wanted to fight Busch. Kyle LIKE ALWAYS ran like a girl!! He did it with Steven Wallace in the Nationwide/Busch race a month back. He is such a girl!! Be a man and throw a punch!! 6. 33 posted: 06.15.2008 - 12:15 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) So Hornaday is a dirty driver and Kyle who causes more wrecks is just a racer who races hard? Hornaday who always praises his crew after they cost him a win is a whiner and Kyle who called his truck a piece of crap after a 2nd place finish is a guy who takes it in stride? You're the same guy who blamed Jr for Kyle wrecking him at Richmond so I shouldn't be surprised. 7. Darrell posted: 06.15.2008 - 6:14 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Hornaday's done something though Busch has yet to do...win a championship. He had every right to be mad at Busch for wrecking him for no reason. At least he crashed at Kentucky. How's karma treating you boy? 8. It was the last lap and Kyle got aPUSH in the front end. And Clyton, your post shows a lot of class, to say I hope he wrecks Kyle what if he does and Kyle gets severely injured or killed. You probably would be cheering. What I meant when I said he takes it in stride is when ALL OF THE IDIOTS FLIP HIM OFF OR THROW CRAP OR BOO HIM HE JUST WAVES AT THOSE CLOWNS. If it wasn't for Earnhardt giving Hornaday in the early years of trucks I doubt he would be a champion. And he lucked into last years championship because of a parts failure. And why I said that Busch got wrecked by the 88 at Richmond is that the 88 cut down on the 18. 11. Darrell posted: 06.15.2008 - 9:54 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Dodge, based on your logic, Kyle lucked into getting rides with Roush, Hendrick, and Gibbs. 12. Mr. Big posted: 06.15.2008 - 9:57 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Dodge, get off of this site. You're a moron. Amazing finish at the end there (and congrats to Darnell on pulling it out) but Kyle Busch just shows once again how much of an idiot he is. When someone races him "too hard" (which now seems to be if someone tries to even pass him) he gets all butthurt and tries to wreck that car/truck. Kyle Busch doesn't deserve a ride in any of the three series. 13. Dodge posted: 06.15.2008 - 12:50 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Darrell, I am a Kahne fan. I have been getting more respect for Kyle Busch. And you Mr. Big aka Mr. Dumba*s. That is my opinion. It don't mean I am right but I have a right to post my opinion. If you don't like my opinion then DON'T READ MY POSTS. I have been a NASCAR fan since 1995 when my dad turned it on and have watched ever since and doing research and my OWN stats. Its funny, you people whine when the racing is boring but when Kyle tries to make it more interesting you idiots cry like babies. Kevin Harvick said that the young drivers are the biggest whiners and PUNKS and I can think of quite a few posters that act the same way. IF PEOPLE STOP ATTACKING ME FOR MY OPINIONS I WILL TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT. There are a few I respect like the WEBMASTER, THANK YOU FOR THIS GREAT SITE. 14. If I get badmouthed, I badmouth the people who badmouth me. Please everyone, lets not attack each other. NASCAR fans should not attack each other. For those that I have badmouthed, I am TRUELY SORRY. 15. 33 posted: 06.15.2008 - 2:25 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) "If it wasn't for Earnhardt giving Hornaday in the early years of trucks I doubt he would be a champion." Ron already had a chance to move to trucks with Wayne Spears who he dominated the west coast with. Instead he went with Dale and helped Harvick get with Spears. That would have been a whole different team with Hornaday. If you want to play what ifs, what if Dale and NAPA kept Ron instead of hiring the mediocre Michael Waltrip. I think they would of been competitive at more than the four plate races a year. 16. Dodge posted: 06.15.2008 - 6:29 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I didn't know about Ron getting a chance with Spears. I doubt anything would of been different with the Spears team. Whoever Dale hired would of succeeded. Ron Hornaday may be a good driver but I doubt he would of mounted much in the Cup Series. Look at Park, a few good runs but a middle of the pack. Now, DEI has enough cars that they are a better team. I knew Ron drove one exhibition race for Spears but didn't know why. I started watching NASCAR in February of 1995, and that exhibition race was in January of 1995 as part of Winter Heat. 17. Darrell | 06.15.08 - 9:54 am The reason why Busch got a ride with Hendrick is because Roush found him with his Gong Show as well as a good word from big brother Kurt. Kyle supposedly didn't want to follow in his brothers footsteps so since NASCAR at the time changed the AGE requirements that forced him to sit out 02, so he signed a contract with Hendrick. 18. Succeeding and winning 25 of the first 100 races are two different things. DEI wasn't a powerhouse at the time. Their Busch team wasn't winning and they didn't have a Cup team. The other top drivers in the series at the time were with powerhouse Cup teams - Sprague/Hendrick, Skinner/RCR, etc. As for Park, he had become a top 10 driver before his injury at Darlington. Neither he or the team ever recovered from that. 20. Baker posted: 06.16.2008 - 10:56 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Quit crying. It was no big deal when Hornaday wrecked him at Lowes, but OMG Kyle Busch gets a little revenge and the world goes crazy about it. When Kyle Busch does it people are crying murder. 23. 33 posted: 06.18.2008 - 10:59 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Because Kyle is a Cup driver messing with the points in a lower series. He wrecked Benson earlier, now Hornaday. If every one that he's wrecked pays him back he'll never finish another race. If he doesn't like being wrecked in the trucks, then don't run trucks! It's that simple. 24. The only reason he is competitive is because he drives a Toyota. Remember him at Hendrick? Yeah, I don't either. Because Busch is not a good racer on his own. He either wins or he wrecks, or finishes in the top 5 and calls the car and the crew crap. If he wins the Cup championship this year, I will be very surprised, because he is not a points racer. Hornaday at least has self-control and is talented. 26.
