Dodge announced that they will not provide any financial support to any teams in the series in 2009. What Dodge did opens up questions about other automakers futures in the Truck series like GM. I know GM is hurting right now. I think GM would be looking at cutting back support at the truck series level if their financial problems continue. 2. Joe Gibbs is just a beast at finding true talent. 3. nascarman posted: 09.07.2008 - 6:55 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Andy Lally's first race since May results in a strong top 20 finish. 4. samfan08 posted: 09.09.2008 - 10:53 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) It's amazing how Dodge has fallen in the Truck series. Before Toyota came in they couldn't be beat, especially Bobby Hamilton Racing. Now they won't be supporting teams. I have nothing against Toyota racing, but this seems like the first step in a Toyota monopoly of the Truck Series. 5. Couple years ago the 59 and 11 teams went to toyota. This year the 15 and 51 went to Toyota. 6. Dodge posted: 09.11.2008 - 4:42 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Maybe Hornaday's last race? ESPN is reporting that Ron took some kind of medicine because he claims he was sick. The report said that where he got the prescription has had their doctors and owners arrested for false prescriptions. Even though it happened a year or two ago, NASCAR needs to do something unless they want Congress up their butts. 7. Kit posted: 09.11.2008 - 10:55 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) NASCAR and Congress needs to stay out of it, Congress especially. Hornaday was not endangering anyone on the track with what he took. 8. Dodge posted: 09.12.2008 - 7:51 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) We have diferent opinions. Mine is that they need to do something. If he was really sick as the article says that Ron claims, why did he choose to go there instead of his personal doctor. If you look at the results from 05 and 06 and then look at 07, it is suspicious. If he was really sick why didn't he take some time off to get a quicker diagnosis. 9. Anonymous posted: 09.12.2008 - 1:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Leave it to Dodge like ESPN to blow things out of proportion. 10. Dodge posted: 09.12.2008 - 10:42 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Huh, I thought this was a place where we can say our OPINIONS. That was my opinion and I am being criticized? Wow. Why don't the webmaster get rid of user comments. One says their opinions and everybody including myself criticize when we don't like what is being said. 11. Kit posted: 09.13.2008 - 12:48 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Wow, Dodge, you don't have a clue. You're blowing everything out of proportion. "If he was really sick as the article says that Ron claims, why did he choose to go there instead of his personal doctor." Why do you care? How is it any of your business? You actually think Ron would run faster laps on the track by not going to a personal doctor or something? "If you look at the results from 05 and 06 and then look at 07, it is suspicious." Wow, now you're really pushing it. Ron probably took a small level of testosterone for a condition he had. It probably increased his protein synthesis a little bit. And you actually think this would shave seconds off of his lap times on the track in races? "If he was really sick why didn't he take some time off to get a quicker diagnosis." Again, WHY do you care? WHY is it any of your business? This is exactly why I think Congress needs to stay out of it: people with little knowledge on the subject tends to blow things out of proportion and want to cruxify someone for it. "That was my opinion and I am being criticized?" You actually expected to post your opinion and you won't get criticized for it? Wow, just wow. People get their opinions criticized all the time: just look at the elections. 12. Dodge posted: 09.14.2008 - 9:27 am Rate this comment: (0) (1) Kit, you sound like you must be an ass. I have been a diehard fan since 1995. How long for you. I think Ron his hiding SOMETHING still because he was rocking side to side during his news conference friday. I would love to be a body expression expert to figure out if it is true. 13. 33 fan posted: 09.14.2008 - 8:42 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 1. Ron doesn't like talking to the media. 2. He went to two doctors before going to the clinic. Don't you think one was his "personal" doctor? 3. The people who know him say he was sick. You could tell by watching on TV that he lost weight. 4. The drug wasn't banned by NASCAR and isn't illegal. 5. Why does it even matter? Every argument you get into you try to counter by saying you've been a fan since 1995. Does that make you special or something? 14. Dodge posted: 09.15.2008 - 12:13 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) 33 fan, screw off. Mind your own business. It is between me and Kit. No it doesn't make me special A**HOLE. Just I'm saying that there is NO WAY IN HELL that a new fan can know more than me and if you do, then you are a real racing fan. 15. Anonymous posted: 09.15.2008 - 12:38 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) What do you want me to say? I am wrong? Fine, I'm wrong. The reason why I said what I did was that according to the article he went to a clinic where everybody are convicts there because the SOLD steriods among other crap that other sports stars took. By the way 33fan, how do you know he went to his personal doctor and another doctor before the clinic? Are you his doctor? I know I am not a doctor but if you read the article I guess it missed some parts. Again, I guess I am Wrong. 16. 33fan posted: 09.15.2008 - 1:38 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Why are these things moderated if posts like the above go through? I will say it again, I AM WRONG. You tell me to get over myself, you too. 18. 33 posted: 09.15.2008 - 5:06 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I have nothing to get over. I'm not calling people a--holes and gloating over my racing knowledge. Your next to last comment wasn't even there when I posted. 19. The reason why I called you an A--Hole is because when I get attacked I won't back donw from a verbal attack. I am sorry that that happened. 20. Just thought I would do this to answer the "What if the NCTS used the Chase Format in 2008" question for anyone else who had wondered that also. 21.
