- Great to see Benson win, I was pulling for him. If he hadnt been
wrecked on the final lap at Martinsville running second, he would have a
147 point lead.
- Best finish for Hornish in a NASCAR event, and in his truck debut.
- McMurray makes his first truck start since winning this race in 2004.
Can't believe he didnt make the top 10.
- Only two different leaders the whole race is pretty sad however.

First top ten in NASCAR for Sam Hornish Jr.

Kyle had a spring problem but still finished fourth. One lead change,
pathetic. Hate Hornaday, was cool to see him run out of gas and lose the
point lead.

This was a boring race. I didn't expect drivers running out of gas at
Martinsville. Busch isn't 12th in points in the Trucks series. He is
12th in points in cup. He isn't running all the truck races.

Last NASCAR win for the man who gave Jeff Gordon his first full-time
ride in NASCAR, and broke Bobby Labonte into the Cup Series, Bill Davis.
He'd sell his team in the off season after winning his first Truck
Series Championship with the man who won this race, Johnny Benson.

J.R. Fitzpatrick to pilot third truck for TRG Motorsports at
Martinsville: UPDATE 2 more races in '08; 15 race schedule in '09: After
a successful test at Iowa Speedway just two weeks ago, Canadian stock
car standout John Ryan "J.R." Fitzpatrick has been named driver of the
#12 Chevy for TRG Motorsports in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday, October 18th.
Fitzpatrick will drive a third entry for TRG Motorsports, in conjunction
with DGM Racing, and will serve as a teammate to T.J. Bell and Ben

Bobby Dotter's #0 Start and Park team collected sponsorship from Copy
Wizard and a local donor named J.D.Ryder. This would be the only race
the #0 team ran in its entirety in 2008.

@17 ran its in entirety means running the entire race. The #0 was a
Start and Park in 2008 to provide more funding to the #08 teammate,
which was their full race truck. Apologies if it was worded weirdly.
