Gonna be like '03 Homestead again, except with two drivers.. 2. Dodge posted: 11.08.2008 - 10:31 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Hopefully Benson wins the Championship. 3. Homestead should be exciting for Benson and Hornaday battling for the championship. 4. This is two years in a row that Hornaday has gift wrapped the championship for one of their drivers, only for them to choke it away. Last year Skinner's team had a faulty wheel hub, and this year Johnny Benson, JOHNNY FREAKING BENSON, of all people gets impatient trying to get around an inexperienced driver and trashes his truck. If he could have just finished 10th he would have a 50+ point lead. I wonder if they are cursed or something. Maybe it is payback for the way they helped Toyota while getting manufacturer from Dodge and even giving away Dodge's secrets. You would think losing manufacturer support for 3 and 1/2 years would be enough for a team that was marginal to start with. But I guess not. I also would like to see Johnny win a championship, but it looks like it just isn't meant to be. I hope I'm wrong. 5. Benson won the Homestead race last year so I hope he repeats this year as well. On thing I don't understand is why were other crews helping fix Hornaday's truck? I saw Darnell's crew working on it, and Hornaday even thanked everyone for helping but I don't understand why? 6. bkbroila posted: 11.08.2008 - 5:05 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) This is currently Brad Keselowski's career best finish in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. It's pretty amazing that he did it with his own truck and own crew. In their 3 prior races with Robb Brent, their best finish was 21st. 7. dUDE gUY posted: 11.11.2008 - 2:13 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kevin Harvick takes his third win in the Truck series. Coincidentaly, all three of those wins came at Phoenix. 8. What a difference the Chase format would make in the points battle. Yes, it's not as close and not as exciting as the actual points battle but take a look for yourself at the standings after 9 of 10 races: 1 Todd Bodine 6424 2 Ron Hornaday 6385 3 Johnny Benson 6353 4 Erik Darnell 6271 5 Mike Skinner 6252 6 Rick Crawford 6241 7 Dennis Setzer 6204 8 Matt Crafton 6115 9 Chad McCumbee 6084 10 Jack Sprague 6070 11 Terry Cook 5982 12 David Starr 5945 9. 29PennzoilChevy09 posted: 11.14.2008 - 11:02 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) a great race! plus it was harvicks first win in any series in over a year and he was long overdue. 10.
