Also, best career finish for James Buescher & Norm Benning. 2. Kyle and Kevin are Cup drivers in really good Cup rides, stay there. The Truck Series is awesome, don't ruin it the way people like you ruined the Busch Nationwide Series. Two races in a row we have got to watch the same jerks fight for the win. And I HATE Michael Waltrip's commentary. First of all, he used this race as an opportunity to discuss Sunday's Cup race about 5 times. THIS IS A TRUCK RACE YOU IDIOT!! Besides, his commentary sucks. "I just love the way Jimmie and Denny handled themselves while racing yesterday". Why? Because you wrecked trying to do the same thing? He just brings up the most random, useless crap and the worst times. And he has ZERO credibility. And his analysis sucks. Luckily the next race is a stand alone event at Kansas. I bet my bottom dollar it will be better than any of the Cup Series races at the 1.5 mile tracks. 3. Of all the drivers as analysts, the only one that has no business in the booth except for road courses is Wally Dallenbach as he is the ONLY announcer that raced that never won. Also, I'd rather see Kyle Busch do what he did than to badmouth anyone. He remembers what he was taught, if you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all. I respect Kyle's driving because he is a Wheel Man, he can drive anything. 5. Looks to me the reason why Cup guys drive in lower series is to boost their self esteem or something. Harvick hasn't won in 77 Cup races but has two Truck wins and 6 Nationwide wins since then. This was the first race weekend this year in which Busch didn't win a race. At Daytona he won the Gatorade Duel, at California he won the Truck and Nationwide races, (on the same day), at Vegas he won the Cup race, at Atlanta he won the Truck race, and at Bristol he won the Cup race. Wow! 6. DaleSrFanForever posted: 03.31.2009 - 1:25 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) "Looks to me the reason why Cup guys drive in lower series is to boost their self esteem or something. Their egos are so big they can't just let the Truck regulars have all the spotlight. I'm just worried it will take the same path as the Nationwide Series. They put splitters on the Trucks just like the COT and are doing more and more companion races. This is two races in a row we have seen Kyle and Kevin race for the win in a Truck race. I would rather see people race for the win who aren't just moonlighting. 7. dUDE gUY posted: 03.31.2009 - 3:51 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) In 4 races, this year only one regular won one race - Todd Bodine at Daytona. Since then the Cup guys have been hogging the spotlight. I suppose there isn't much room left in the Nationwide series for Cup regulars to gain their precious confidence, so they're just gonna spill over into the truck series and let their egos ruin that series as well. Hey, why watch the same guys race in only the cup race, when you could have them in all three series at once! Why have variety when you can bore the viewers to death! Just drive the damned car! I'm sure it's hard, and I'm sure your confidence wilts if you haven't won in a while but YOU ARE IN A CUP CAR FOR A REASON. DRIVE THAT DAMNED CAR AS FAST AND AS HARD AS YOU CAN. JUST. DO. IT. 8. And once again, Kyle Busch is a sore loser. 9. Brad posted: 03.31.2009 - 6:10 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Don't forget the tantrum that Kyle Busch threw after the race. Throws his helmet in the truck and RUNS out of the race track. Looks like somebody has got some growing up to do! 10. Dodge | 03.30.09 - 10:01 pm That's good and all,but him storming out of the track like the world's gonna end 'cause he made a mistake ain't excatlly doing his image any good.It makes him look like an immature brat. Bronco | 03.30.09 - 11:18 pm That's the best explanation for cup drivers running the Nationwide and Truck series I've heard. And someone please...sponser Johnny Benson. 11. I think Kyle Busch is an incredibly talented driver and is obviously very passionate about what he does. He's young and short tempered, and adds personality to the race. Entertainment need villains just as much as it needs heroes. Anyway, about the race. I liked the close racing action and it showed once again that short tracks are an element NASCAR's top series' cannot do without. 12. Dodge posted: 04.01.2009 - 7:02 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I don't think Kyle Busch cares what people think of him. Since most fans hate him, he don't care what their opinions about him are. As I said, I'd rather see him do that than go and badmouth anybody. 13. Or maybe they're doing it because they're greedy and NASCAR won't do anything to stop them because stopping them would mean that NASCAR would have to spend more money trying to build an identity for the Nationwide and Truck Series independent of the cup guys. 14. Does Steve Smith ever spend his Saturdays during football season playing college ball with North Carolina? Of course not! I would love it if he did (sorry dook fans), but he would never do that. 15. They are taking away any sort of prestige the Busch and Truck series has by winning races they really don't give a shit about winning. It's like if the Philadelphia Eagles came to a little league game, beat the shit out of the opposing team of five-year-olds, and then their fans threw ice at the opposing team's parents. The Eagles wouldn't give a shit about the win; their focus is on their other NFC teams, not the Charleston Riverdogs. I don't care to watch what drivers do in their personal lives during their leisure time, and that does include Truck and Busch races for Cup drivers. The Busch series should be a display of upcoming talent. Two of the drivers in the top 10 are Cup champions. 16. How does everyone feeling about a full time Nationwide driver racing in the trucks? Badmouth Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick (who ownes two full-time stand alone truck teams), badmouth Bliss for dipping into a "lower" series. 17. All this BS drama you want is what's killing the sport. I want to see racing, not drama. 18. Nationwide has Bliss, Keselowski, Allgaier and that's about it. Trucks have 10-15 drivers of that level each year. Bliss was driving junk anyway. What are the chances Harvick or Busch would drive for Key Motorsports? LOL 20.
