Ron Hornaday was made for the Truck Series. Short races, no strategy, no holding back, just hammer down from green flag to checkered flag. It is so much fun to watch him, he drives the piss outta those trucks!!! What a great race!! The racing was absolutely gripping. This reminded me why I love racing so much. It is ironic, with all the hype around the two big races in Indianapolis, the Indy 500 and Brickyard 400, this will be by far the best race this year in that city. Bodine took himself out. Kudos to Colin Braun for not backing off that late in the race. Todd better be glad he's in the Truck Series now, and not in the 90's when it was all short tracks and road courses. He'd never win. 3. Great racing. Congrats to Hornaday, he drove the wheels off his truck. Bodine had it coming to him. He did to Braun what he did to about five other guys. 5. Everyone wants to talk about more talented drivers ruinning the Nationwide series, but this punk has been doing it in the Truck series for years. Move up loser. He has zero competition now that more than half of the dominate truck teams have been shut down due to sponsership. 9. Bronco posted: 07.26.2009 - 3:20 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) Baker you're a dumbass. Ron has been a truck series driver for years. Why the hell should he "move up?" A Kyle Busch fan shouldn't been bash a driver for winning races when he has no competition, since that's what Kyle has been doing all season long in the Nationwide series. 10. jr88fan posted: 07.26.2009 - 6:15 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) 1st career race for 7 drivers! Hornaday has won 5 of 13 while the Busch whackers have won 19 of 20. So which is more of a fair fight? Besides, most of the top rides are taken by Cup drivers. What's Hornaday going to do.. share a ride with Harvick? Scott Lagasse was having a solid season and now he's lost his ride to a Cup driver. Jason Leffler, one of the top NW drivers is going to have to share his ride with a Cupper next year. It is pathetic. 12. Dion posted: 07.26.2009 - 9:18 pm Rate this comment: (3) (0) Hornaday ran cup and wasn't very successful and then was in the Nationwide Series and did good there but was let go by Richard Childress and Harvick gave his former teammate a chance in his truck and they clicked. You can't hate the guy for finding the right combination...drivers dream of a chance to have a season like this one. 13.
