I didn't even know this race was on. Way to promote your events NASCAR.
Why was Kyle Busch even in this race? What a joke.

NASCAR really did not do a good job promoting this race. I was thinking
it was a Saturday race until the ARCA race last night mentioned it would
run after.

Actually not a horrible race for an event at a horrible race track. Some
long green runs but enough cautions. Not a big fan of the new pit stop
rule, but it really made this race determined by early strategy, which
is always fun.

Setzer finished 8th; may be his last race for a while. Shame since his
team has been awesome with a limited budget.

Rick Crawford gets his best finish of the season and first top 5 since
Martinsville.

Johnny Sauter tied his season best finish of fifth.

Aric Almirola scores a top 10 for the fifth consecutive time he has
raced (didn't run at Nashville). Maybe these good runs will help him get
a full-time ride with someone.

Also of note was Ron Hornaday with his worst starting position of the
year, sixth. The first time since Texas last November that Ron started
outside the top 5.

The #3 Truck is returning. Richard Childress will field the car with his
grandson, Austin Dillon, driving. I'm actually looking forward to this.
Obviously, to me, that #3 is sacred, but I know it is in good hands with
Richard.

Kyle Busch became the only current driver to be in the top 10 in all
time wins in 2 of the top 3 series (Trucks and Nationwide). Dale
Earnhardt used to be only one in Cup and Nationwide but has fallen down
the order in Nationwide the last few seasons.

It's also the 5th track that Kyle's won at in all 3 top series.

BTW I knew well ahead that the race was on.

it's not a horrible track. its just the racing lacks a bit of excitement
in nascar. if you watch indycar races here they are usually quite fantastic
