First of all he played his infamous "mind games" in practice for this race..... with a guy with one Truck win in 216 starts. A guy that has never made a single Cup or Nationwide start. Harvick is a Cup regular with 11 wins, 3 Top 5 points finishes, and has won the Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400 THIS DECADE!!! Wow, you can play mind games with Matt Crafton. I'm so proud of you. Then he gets super pissed at Ron Hornaday, a Truck regular leading the points and racing for the points title, for not rolling over and letting him pass. IT'S CALLED RACING YOU DOLT!!!!! And of course Mikey was in the booth talking about how Ryan Newman actually trying to win the Atlanta Truck race cost Hornaday the championship (it had nothing to do with the fact that Johnny Benson is one hell of a driver). IT'S CALLED RACING MR. LOSER OF OVER 1,000 NASCAR RACES!!!!!!! Seriously though, Harvick is VERY talented, but he has come to THIS?!? He should be embarrassed. He is thought of more as a Nationwide driver and Truck owner. Just another ugly chapter in a career that could have been epic if Kevin would have cared more about being great behind the wheel and fighting through adversity, and less about being a rebel. You better win today at Loudon or next week at Dover, or your Cup winless streak will reach the big 1-0-0. 2. 18fan posted: 09.20.2009 - 2:00 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Sauter had the fastest truck right before the pit stops, but ran out of gas. I'm sick of the announcers talking about Crafton becoming a week in, week out threat to win, when he's won one race in 216 starts. A little contact after the race between Sauter and Compton after Sauter bumped Compton out of fifth in turn two of the last lap. I think Kevin Harvick was only in this race to do something to Crafton and for personal pleasure of running up front. I don't know why Kyle does it, he runs well enough in Cup and Nationwide to not need satisfaction of running up front. Michael Waltrip is one of the worst announcers in NASCAR history. Todd Bodine broke a fuel pump. 3. Kit posted: 09.20.2009 - 4:05 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) "Seriously though, Harvick is VERY talented, but he has come to THIS?!?" I'm not so sure. It seems like a lot of Harvick's anger on the track comes out of frustration for himself. If he actually got pissed at HIS OWN DRIVER, Ron Hornaday, trying to get more points to win a championship, then Harvick is a hell of a lot more stupider than I though. That a complete, f**king moron. Harvick's team wouldn't be shit without Hornaday. I can kind of see how Ryan Newman hurt Hornaday's chances during that race. Hornaday did not need more competition. But Benson won the championship by racing for it. Waltrip has no business being an announcer when he can't even drive a Cup car worth a shit. 4. If I were Hornaday, I'd tell Harvick to kiss my ass. And if he fires him, then good luck finding a better Truck driver than Hornaday. It's like you said, Harvick may be even DUMBER than we thought. I think another part of his frustration comes from the fact that he can't even beat up on the little guys now. It's bad enough he hasn't won in Cup in almost THREE years, but when you can't even beat the Truck drivers, it just proves you aren't who you think you are. We've seen this with Kyle Busch this year. The worse he performs on the Cup side, the more frustrated he is when he loses a Nationwide or Truck race. They are both bullies who need to beat up on SOMEBODY, even if it is the disabled kid. And yes, please replace Mikey with Johnny Benson next year. Mikey is only up there to promote Michael Waltrip the "personality". He has to be the show, not the race. The best announcers like Ned Jarrett and Benny Parsons gave great insight and let the race take center stage. Mikey does neither. 5. Hornaday left Harvick plenty of room, yet Harvick still couldn't get the job done, is that Hornaday's fault? Aric Almirola was headed for another top 5 when he had an ignition problem. He has done an awesome job in that truck this year and will likely win before the season is over. Johnny Sauter is running pretty well in the #13 and will probably win ROTY. Next week's race is the final stand alone event for the trucks in 2009 and I hope to see Skinner win it. 6. But he didn't. And he expects Ron to just pull over and let Kevin pass? RON IS RACING FOR A CHAMPIONSHIP, YOU ARE NOT! If you don't like it, stay OUT of the Truck series! 7. Absolutely ridiculous. 9. Dodge posted: 09.21.2009 - 1:53 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) If I am right anonymous you counted 11 but at least 2 were legit. Bainey blew up the engine on the track. Jason White had the carburator was on fire as he came down pitroad. 10. I agree, the only reason he's even 2nd in the championship is because the other competition has lessened this year thanks to BDR folding up and Roush Racing going from 2 to 1 full time Truck. And lately Johnny Sauter has been outperforming him and could've won the race. Skinner is the bigger championship threat to Hornaday than Crafton because Skinner's the only other full time Truck driver who can win races and lead laps. 11. And for Kevin to act the way he did, um smarten up or stop driving. 12. Harvick's complex really came out when the f**ker wrecked Ricky Rudd and then tried to blame him for it. "Skinner's the only other full time Truck driver who can win races and lead laps." And the only other full time truck driver with enough financial backing to do so. 13. Anonymous posted: 09.26.2009 - 12:34 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) That's BS. Bodine, Braun, both Thorsport trucks, both Randy Moss trucks, and both Circle Bar trucks have solid funding. 14. Bronco posted: 09.26.2009 - 7:36 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) "That's BS. But in addition to drivers you mentioned, Cook, Starr, Scott, White also have enough financial backing. 15.
