I love it. Buescher could have put him in the wall, but he didn't. He had ever right to after Busch came up the track on him. Or he could have backed off, or run Busch hard into the wall. Instead he did a half-assed combination of both, and just got beat. Busch wanted the win more than Buescher. 2. No one else had anything for them, and the #31 screwed up by choosing the outside lane on the last restart. It's a shame if the #18 truck were to get shut down for next season after the way they've dominated the season. 5 wins, 4 from the pole, laps led in 9/11 starts and more laps led than anyone else by far. Bobby Jr's first top truck top 10 since Homestead in 2006, only the third top 10 for Rick Ware as owner, 2 out of 3 have come at New Hampshire. 3. Great quote by kryle this week - "I think it's going to be pretty detrimental (to the Truck Series) to not have myself in the series." Really? Is it going to be detrimental for James Buescher not having you there to ruin his win by running him into the wall and then flip him off? News flash prick, no one wants you here. 4. News flash Kyle you didn't to yourself in 2009 at Daytona, you did it too yourself at Bristol with Brad and you did it too yourself today. The only person who needs to be flipped off is you. And Thank god your not going to be in the Trucks next season, focus on your Cup effort, unless your scared of Jimmie Johnson. Buescher you should have put in him in the fence, i would of. 8. Bronco posted: 09.19.2010 - 12:49 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) "And Thank god your not going to be in the Trucks next season, focus on your Cup effort, unless your scared of Jimmie Johnson." Who says he won't be in the trucks next season? Even if he folds his team, he could always go back to the #51 team and pick up where he left off last year. In Cup, in case you forgot, he was four spots ahead of JJ before the points were reset. As for focusing on Cup, Mark Martin, Dale Jr, Martin Truex, Jeff Gordon, Jeff Burton, Matt Kenseth are all doing that - and guess what? They haven't won yet! Meanwhile, the two guys who were 1st and 2nd in points before the reset dominated Nationwide and Trucks this year while having 3 Cup wins each. Bottom line, people need to stop bitching about Kyle and Kevin dominating Nationwide and Trucks, since it hasn't affected their Cup effort one bit. 9. dirtfan9262 posted: 09.19.2010 - 1:37 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) "News flash prick, no one wants you here." No one, except the tracks, the promoters, the other drivers, and the majority of people who watch the lower tier races, because the Cup drivers are the only reason a lot of people have any interest in going to, or watching these events on TV. So yeah, other than all those people, no one wants Busch there. Actually it's pretty much just the pansies who think wins should be handed out for showing up that don't want Busch there. The same people who say the wins in these series mean nothing, but desperately want drivers like Justin Allgeier or James Buescher to accumulate wins there for some reason. The same morons who think the Nationwide series and Truck series no longer feed into Cup, despite the fact that Logano, Keselowski, Truex, Busch, Hamlin, Bowyer, Ragan, Kahne, Edwards, and Reutimann amongst others have made the transition in the last 6 or 7 years and found success in Cup. Yeah yeah, the series is broken, the Cup drivers ruin it, Busch is a crybaby, blah blah blah. God that gets old. Why does auto racing attract so many idiots? Dumb southern conservatives want to ruin racing like they're trying to ruin this country. 10. RickyBobby posted: 09.19.2010 - 1:48 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) "Earnhardt entered a third tier series and put a series regular into the wall when he had a rare chance to win?" Earnhardt would have raced the same way as Busch at the end of that race. It's amazing that so many Earnhardt fans are in such denial about the comparisons between the way Busch and Earnhardt race. They both would do anything to win, including hitting, cutting off, and anything else to "intimidate" the guys he's racing for the win. Busch is the most Earnhardt-type driver in NASCAR since Earnhardt died, and that's including Earnhardt's son. It's a shame he gets the worst rap of all from those very fans that hailed Earnhardt as a hero. But then again those people just must be confused by what winning looks like after following Jr. for the last several years. 11. Dodge posted: 09.19.2010 - 6:36 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I think the reason why Busch flipped off Buescher is that after the race, Buescher went and banged on Busch's truck. If I was Busch, I probably would of turned left on the cool down lap to dump the idiot Buescher. The only reason he is driving for Mr. Turner is that he is dating Mr. Turner's daughter and he wanted to get involved in NASCAR. Atleast Buescher has an ounce of talent onlike Carmichael, who it seems like is always spinning/wrecking. 14. It's hard to believe people don't like this guy. "In Cup, in case you forgot, he was four spots ahead of JJ before the points were reset." In case you forgot, Kyle has more driving talent in his sleep than JJ does on his best day, yet JJ still hands him his ass on a platter in the Cup Series. Remember, this is the year of the "New More Mature Kyle" (it's a bunch of crap) and this is also the year that JJ has shown so much "vulnerability", making tons of mental blunders. Guess which one has 5 wins this season, and which one has 3? 16. DaleSrFanForever posted: 09.19.2010 - 9:38 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) All hail Kyle and Kevin, kings of the minor leagues. I wonder if these Truck and NWide trophies will make them smile after they retire and go down in history as role players in the Jimmie Johnson Era. Maybe they'll look at all those minor league trophies and say to themselves "OK, right there is 40 combined Truck/Busch/MWide trophies, that is roughly equal to one Cup Championship trophy, right? Right? Right?" (BTW, the answer is "WRONG") 17. Cooper posted: 09.19.2010 - 9:39 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Well, I can say that this win didn't bother me. Usually when Kyle wins my blood pressure skyrockets but I think he has won so many times now, that it know longer bothers me. What did the win really accomplish? Everyone knows Kyle will win most of the truck races he enters so it doesn't really help get sponsorship. If Kyle wants to get sponsorship for his team he has to go out there and put his Carl Edwards face on. Start acting nice outside the track and at least look like you're a marketable person. But let's be honest Kyle will have his own truck team next year, because people aren't dumb enough to not sponsor this guy. Even though I hate the mans guts I would be stupid not to sponsor him if I had money. He'll always be on TV and always winning. Your company name would be everywhere. I think the problem with Kyle is he and other owners are asking way to much for sponsorship of a race car. I heard that a full season CUP sponsorship goes for 25M. No company will ever see additional profits of 25M due to sponsorship. Anyways, Buescher made the same mistake Brad did in Bristol, and also checked up, absolutely causing him a win. He should have just gunned it. Kyle Busch Truck Win Percentage: 26% Top 5 Percentage: 54% Top 10 Percentage: 75% These stats alone should have some companies inquiring about sponsorship. Or maybe it isn't a stat thing... but as Brad said being an ass. Maybe companies don't want to be associated with an ass? 18. DaleSrFanForever posted: 09.19.2010 - 10:10 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) The problem isn't so much Kyle as the Truck series itself and its current condition (which Kyle has had a lot to do with). Along with others like Kevin, they have sucked the life out of this Series and robbed it of its identity the same way the NWide Series has been done. It used to be mostly a fun conglomerate of hard racing between people you wouldn't get to see anywhere else. A mix of young guys with something to prove and Cup castoffs proving they can race. Now? When Kevin and/or Kyle enter the other guys can forget about getting much TV time. I blame Speed Channel a lot for this, but those guys, with their experience of currently racing week in and week out with the best of the best gives them an unfair advantage. When you are racing every week against guys like Johnson, Gordon, Stewart, and Kurt Busch, your skills are going to be at their sharpest. So they unsurprisingly dominate and leave the others grasping for the peanuts that are left. So the bottom line, I wouldn't want to sponsor anyone in this Series for the time being unless I am a small time company that can get a small time deal getting me TV exposure I wouldn't normally get. It's a damn shame to see what has happened to this Series this decade. From the best racing in NASCAR hands down to a shell of itself. Thank you Brainless Brian for not stepping up. 19. Dale is and was more of a man then Kyle ever will be. In the future all people are going to care about is CUP STATS!!!!!!!!! He'd have a championship by if: 1. he'd grow up and act like a man 2. focus on his Cup effort. If he was just getting into NASCAR then i'd let this stuff slide but his has been in NASCAR full time since 2004. What a horsecrap statement. Really? If Buescher stayed in the gas, he wouldve been pinned between Busch and the wall and Harvick would've won the race. Buescher tries to run clean, Busch doesn't. I don't understand why people are calling Buescher an idiot in this ordeal and saying they would've wrecked him after the race too. Also Turner isn't the reason Buescher made it to NASCAR, several other people are... 27. JAckdaniels posted: 09.20.2010 - 12:01 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) "What a horsecrap statement. Really? Who was the leader on the final restart? Buescher Who's truck hit the wall? Busch Who still won the race? Busch If Buescher turns harder into Busch to spin him around faster, he doesn't lose a spot to Harvick, unless he just really sucks as a driver. Busch makes a tough (although some would call stupid) move to steal the win, and Buescher let it happen. Some of us like Busch because he'll do anything to win, and at the end of a race, he'll do what he has to do to make it happen. And the only dirty move for me at the end of a race, is laying into a guys bumper with the intent to spin him, everything else is just hard racing. Busch forcing Buescher up the track and trying to cut him off is hard racing. Busch banging doors with Harvick near the end is hard racing. Buescher didn't have to back off, and nothing would have been dirty about him spinning Busch, because Busch was moving up on him without the room to do so. Jesus christ guys, this is racing! I agree with the guy who said most fans these days seem to think truck and nationwide drivers should get a win just for showing up. Beat the guy, if you're good enough to. Your car is worse? Run your ass off and earn the good ride, and then beat them. These guys have to earn a win, like they have to earn respect, and once they do that, that's when they get a shot in Cup. 28. They're not supposed to be as good, that's why they're racing trucks! They don't get the extra practice of running two or three races, they don't get to bring their NW crew to pit their truck BECAUSE THEY DON'T RACE THERE! They're 2nd and 3rd tier drivers who either don't have the talent or the opportunity to move up. That's why there are different classes in all of racing and all of sports. What about this do you bandwagon busch fans not get? The only thing busch accomplished was cheap shotting a deserving young driver out of a win and a chance to attract more sponsors. 29. He also earned his 9th career pole, and 5th of the season which also leads the series. James Buescher ties his best career finish in 2nd, his 5th top five in 16 starts this season. It's also his 10th career top ten in 42 Truck Series starts. Kevin Harvick has his worst finish in the last 7 races in 3rd. Matt Crafton gets his first top five in the last 6 races but extends his top 10 streak to 10 races. Austin Dillon was the highest finishing rookie in the race with his 11th top ten in the last 12 races. Timothy Peters finishes 6th for the 4th time in 2010, the position he's finished in the most this season. Johnny Sauter gets just his 2nd stand-alone top 10 finish of the season. Aric Almirola's 6th straight top ten ties his season high and is one of his career high of 7 straight set last season. Todd Bodine's also got his 2nd top 10 streak of 6 races. His career high is 10 in a row, set from the end of 2008 to the start of 2009. Bobby Hamilton Jr. gets his first top ten in NASCAR since a 5th place finish in the East Series race at Dover in 2008. 31. ii posted: 09.22.2010 - 3:47 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) This is a very good reason why NASCAR should keep the Cup guys in Cup, Nationwide in Nationwide, and Truck in Truck. Two Cup regulars were side by side the whole race, then out of nowhere comes Buescher, and then Kyle slides up in front of him purposely, hits the wall, and flips off the what-should-have-been winning driver.
