I don't know why they call Kevin Harvick "Happy Harvick" if he gets mad at everyone for a little beating and banging, especially the Red Horse Racing drivers of Lofton and Peters. Johnny Sauter's car was dragging Rodney Atkins for a few laps. Drivers making their first start: B.J. McLeod, C.E. Falk, Amber and Angela Cope, and Cody Cambensy (who was wrecked by half the field in this race) On the second to last restart NASCAR was disputing whether Hornaday of Busch was winning for a few times, but Hornaday was clearly winning when the caution came out. 4. You passed the Immortal Kyle Busch ON THE OUTSIDE AT MARTINSVILLE. You also did this on a restart which the Immortal Kyle Busch claimed earlier in the year that he was the new King of, and not you. You proved his ass WRONG! Truly beautiful. I love Martinsville and can't wait to go there tomorrow. 5. 18fan posted: 10.23.2010 - 8:02 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Typo in my post, I meant he won on, not was on. I missed this race because I woke up late (live in California) and did not know what time the race is. I am a Kyle Busch fan (I know, curse me), but I like seeing him lose in Truck and Nationwide races and the emotion Hornaday showed is great to see as the number of drivers showing true emotion is dwindling. 6. "As I type this, my favorite driver, Brad K, has won the NWide race, but I am heartbroken that Justin Allgaier lost. What a great story that would have been. " Yeah, it really peeved me to see Allgaier lose that one.He had the race in the bag with almost ten to go until the Son of Rusty wrecked GoDaddy Girl and bunched up the field.Once that happened it was basically organized chaos, which Brad K did a good job weaving his way through. 14. Bronco posted: 10.23.2010 - 9:03 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) This ends Harvick's incredible streak of 13 consecutive top 5s while driving a limited schedule. His last finish outside the top 5 was this 2 years ago, also a 15th place finish. The way its going, Todd is going to wrap up the championship by Texas. The same will likely happen in Nationwide too. 15. That's exactly how I feel. Plus I REALLY want to see Allgaier get a good ride for next year. He deserves it. We need fresh blood to eventually trickle up to Cup. Don't get me wrong, I was happy to see Brad win, I'd just rather have seen Justin win. "He had the race in the bag with almost ten to go until the Son of Rusty wrecked GoDaddy Girl and bunched up the field." That was a funny moment for the TV guys. The two drivers whom it's never their fault tangled. The awkward silence in the booth was awesome. 16. And who's the king of restarts now PUNK?? And based on what DSFF said before I don't think he's a Hornaday fan. Either way at least he's not a band wagoner pulling for who ever is winning ... COUGH COUGH. 18. 18fan posted: 10.23.2010 - 11:19 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kyle is the king of restarts in the Cup series, but Hornaday could probably beat him on a restart in that too, since he's been accurately nicknamed "Restart Ron" for a long time. 19. Anonymous posted: 10.23.2010 - 11:26 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) "The awkward silence in the booth was awesome." Awkward silence? Even Rusty called it as it was. When Steve messes up, the booth doesn't try to cover it up, and Steve absolutely takes the blame and apologizes when it's his fault. I could care less that Danica got wrecked in this instance, though. Danica was probably not even making minimum speed yet still ran the primary racing groove. Steve was half a straightaway behind her entering turn 1 and still wrecked her. That's really amazing. 20. 18fan posted: 10.23.2010 - 11:29 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) In Danica's defense, she had a broken track bar earlier in the race and was damaged and Steve was on fresh tires after just making an unscheduled pit stop. 21. Anonymous posted: 10.24.2010 - 12:50 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Almost had a day without a Cup driver winning either series but Steve Wallace ruined that. 22. Well yeah... and she chose to run the primary racing groove when a car came flying up on her at a much higher speed. It's almost a direct reversal of Vegas with Michael McDowell. Ricky Stenhouse was doing a better job of giving the much faster cars the low line once he was damaged. Danica was very slow to begin with this week, so the damage only made matters worse. 23. Anonymous posted: 10.24.2010 - 2:00 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Good God, he flew up on her. She could of turned right and wrecked herself or she could trust the hack to wait until the straight to pass. Dang she even gets bashed in a thread about a race she wasn't in. 24. Anonymous posted: 10.24.2010 - 3:32 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) isn't it funny how "the hack" has more raw talent in stock cars than she has EVER shown? 10 races in and we're still waiting for her to finish better than 2 laps down. 25. Anonymous posted: 10.24.2010 - 5:10 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Isn't it funny you have to compare him to such a driver to make him look good? He has talent but he doesn't use it very well. At least Danica has yet to crash into a fence in the garage. There's your raw talent. 26. awesomegordonfan posted: 10.24.2010 - 6:37 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) Why the NWide Series? Talk about it on the NWide page Nice run by "J. White" Mikey Waltrip is the worst commentator ever, even to AA. Go Hornaday! There's your raw talent." No, but she did nearly kill some track cleanup workers when she self spun under caution at Kentucky in an IRL car that one year... Every driver does something stupid. Steve Wallace had no brakes and hit a fence in the garage so we gotta hear about it for the next however many years. Kyle Petty was a decent Cup driver when he did the same thing at Charlotte. Yeah, Steve's not that great, but we don't really know his worth. He's been outrunning his teammate the last 2 years and that's really the fairest comparison we can make. He's kind of a loose cannon but the potential is there. 29. Anonymous posted: 10.24.2010 - 9:53 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) That "self spin" was caused by tire blowout. C'mon dude, no comparison. Yes we can talk about trucks, Ron Hornaday is one of the best short track drivers in NASCAR but people will never give him credit for it because "trucks and nw don't mean anything". 30. petty43 posted: 10.24.2010 - 11:05 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) steven is pretty bad as a driver but danica is just attrocious, they are both struggling mightily, steve is hopefully going to stayin nwide a while. i hope rusty does not jump to cup and stick steven in the car. 31. petty43 posted: 10.24.2010 - 11:07 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) thank you to the moderator for removing the troll post 32. Ron Hornaday is worse than Kyle Busch when it comes to tying up a good ride that should be going to a developmental driver. Just go off and retire you old fart. Oooo, you have 4 truck titles, real impressive Ron. Anyone who complains about Kyle Busch taking up a good truck seat, but doesn't complain about Hornaday, is a hypocrite. He has no intention of ever moving up to a higher series, and he's sitting in arguably a top 2 or 3 truck. Now I'm sure that smug know-it-all DaleSrFanForever will say something stupid about how Hornaday is part of the "identity" of this series, and he was just "unlucky" when it came to breaking into Cup, but anyone who watches racing and knows better knows not to listen to DaleSrFanForever. 33. Somehow that combination made it the best series in NASCAR to watch, at least until the last couple years with Kyle and Kevin winning all the race. But apparently this race shows that the series still has it. Ron Hornaday gets his 47th career Truck Series win, 2nd of the season, but his first at Martinsville. Kyle Busch finishes 2nd for the 15th time in the Truck Series. It also means he has 36 top 2 finishes in just 81 career starts in the series. Todd Bodine led the most laps in the race; he's only led 343 laps in 42 short tracks starts in the Trucks, but 157 of them have come in two races led at Martinsville. Jason White made his 100th career start, picking up his 5th career top five and 10th top ten. It's his 2nd top five in the last 4 races. Aric Almirola gets his 1st top five in 5 Martinsville starts. Ricky Carmichael has back-to-back top tens for just the 2nd time this season. 46. awesomegordonfan posted: 10.26.2010 - 5:13 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) "Go Hornaday! What's funny is that there are those on this site that do seem to believe that truck accomplishments mean nothing unless it's a Cup driver, and also those who celebrate truck regular's wins and accomplishments but will come up with any excuse possible to explain why a Cup driver's win means nothing. Basically, this site is full of biased hypocrites. The "anonymous" troll, Bronco, and DaleSrFanForever being some of the more egregious offenders. To me, a win is a win. They are all earned, not only by a driver, but by their teams as well. No win is easy. And Cup wins should mean more in a historical sense, but there are enough good drivers in each series to make a win anywhere mean something. 48. racer x posted: 10.27.2010 - 5:36 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Cody Cambensy spun about 9 times this weekend 49. awesomegordonfan posted: 10.28.2010 - 3:37 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) No crap, racerx.
