The #11 wrecked and the #25 was coming up until #33 decided to go up the hill where the 25 was. The 25 basically tried to avoid him and hit the wall and the 33 kept coming up until the 33 clipped the 25 and the 33 hit the wall with the right front. Then the 33 dumps the 25 in retaliation. 3. Johnny Sauter scored his tenth top five finish in the last fourteen races. Aric Almirola scored his eleventh consecutive top ten finish. Parker Kligerman makes his NCWTS debut and scores a top ten finish. Ricky Carmichael scored his fourth consecutive top ten finish. Carmichael had only four top ten finishes in the first nineteen races of the season. 4. He should drive a Chevy, since this is the "chevy benefit series", then maybe he could win more than Kyle Busch. 5. Todd Bodine pretty much has this year's title locked up unless something unheard of happens. I'll have to wait until next season to see somebody I'm a fan of win it. 7. 18fan posted: 11.06.2010 - 2:28 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) If Todd finishes 6th(I think) at Phoenix he clinches the championship. 8. This makes four consecutive runner ups for Thorsport at Texas, Crafton swept 2nd last year and Sauter did this year. Sauter has a win this year, but Crafton hasn't won in a while, despite continuing to rack up top 10s. KB has defended 5 of his 7 wins from 2009 with his own team; Bristol, Chicago, New Hampshire, Talladega and Texas. 11. 18fan posted: 11.07.2010 - 1:36 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I'm a Kyle Busch fan and I was sick hearing Phil Start and Parksons talk about Kyle passing Cale Yarborough in all time wins in the three series. Kyle isn't 1/20th the driver Cale was." The "wins in 3 series" stat is truly annoying because nobody wastes near as much time as Kyle does racing Nationwide & Trucks. Obviously Cale Yarborough's 83 Cup wins and 3 championships mean that Kyle Busch has a LOT of work to do to catch up :). Until Kyle is the best in the Cup series consistently, he will not be the best in NASCAR. 13. " 19 Cup wins is still 19 Cup wins. Want to bet against that number continually increasing every year for the next decade? Seriously, if you want to bet against it, I will put money up. And my god, are you such a Jimmie Johnson tool that you feel you must go around to every single race page to tout his achievements? Yeah yeah, "you're not a fan," how much longer do you think people are going to buy that? And are you so dense that you can't even understand the fact that you feel the need to constantly talk about Kyle, only helps to prove yourself wrong? Only one driver has more Cup wins in the past 3 seasons, and few, if any are talked about on a more consistent basis. Sounds like a superstar to me. Hell, you and the others that hate him still can't shut up about him, even when he doesn't win. And wasn't it your buddy Dale Earnhardt who said something along the lines of, "it doesn't matter if they boo or cheer, as long as they're making noise"? Well the fans make a lot of noise for Kyle. He's a superstar whether you are willing to open eyes to the fact or not. 15. Sounds like you're describing Dale Jr in 2001-04, a lot of wins and a lot of poor performances too, and being talked about all the time. And where is he now? Kyle is even less mentally stable than junebug. 16. dirtfan9262 posted: 11.11.2010 - 2:21 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) "Wanna bet against Hamlin winning a Cup title before the "superstar" in the same equipment?" Boy, you're really going out on a limb there with Hamlin 2 races away from possibly doing just that! Did you have to go to psychic to figure that one out, or did you just go to the racing section of every sports website or newspaper in world? Man, I wish I had you're ability to see the future! Hey, could you help me out with some lotto numbers? Or do you only do predictions for things that have better average of happening than landing on heads in a coin flip? Then again, if I wanted to be a stickler on the wording of your question, I could say that Kyle Busch has another 2 seasons at Gibbs to equal what Denny might do in that "same equipment" this year, seeing as how he's been there since 2006 and Busch has only been there since 2008. Or could I say that since Denny is nearly 30 and Busch is only 25, Busch might still win a title at a younger age, and since we're ignoring all other factors that go into winning championships, that would be more impressive wouldn't it? Or I could say that hey, maybe Denny Hamlin is a superstar too, since it's not like NASCAR is allowed to only have one superstar, and the argument you're trying to win is pointless and stupid! I could say that, but maybe I won't, who knows! 17. Anonymous posted: 11.11.2010 - 11:03 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Yes, thanks for admitting I'm right. But the only ones with true psychic powers are the busch band wagoners telling us how many races and championships he's going to win in the future. Do you think kyle was driving junk before 2008? That was the same stuff Jimmie Johnson was winning championships in. Fail. 18. Anonymous posted: 11.11.2010 - 7:05 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) "Do you think kyle was driving junk before 2008? " First off, let's not act like the 5 team has been a dominant force equal to the 24 and 48 teams, the numbers just don't support that whether Kyle was driving or not. And second, anyone who uses the term "fail" should get back to their high school homework and continue waiting for their balls to drop, and leave the discussions to the adults. 19. Fail again." Clearly, that was the most important part of that post to repudiate. Does anyone want to talk about the truck race itself, or is it just going to be a bunch of kids acting out some stupid flame war? Although admittedly, it wasn't a very entertaining race for the most part. I enjoy watching Todd Bodine losing ground in the owners points race, but too bad it isn't a Truck series regular that might win it instead. I don't have much against Busch, I won't root for him though I do find him entertaining, but winning the truck owners title is a pretty hollow victory with how his Cup year is going. 23. And second, anyone who uses the term "fail" should get back to their high school homework and continue waiting for their balls to drop, and leave the discussions to the adults." ...Was not said by me. Check the names. All I did was point out that whoever it was responding to it ignored the first part, the important part, to respond to the insult. Rather than at least discussing NASCAR (even though it's Cup and not Trucks), they decided to keep the flame war going. I thought it was a good point about the 5 car. 26. Then they gutted that team to try to help June, hence their disappointing 2010 season. Kyle won 4 races in 3 seasons in the #5 car. 27. Kids: people who are typically immature enough to use human sex organs as an insult in a disagreement." So how does that possibly make what JayskiJetski said ironic? How is saying this, "Does anyone want to talk about the truck race itself, or is it just going to be a bunch of kids acting out some stupid flame war?" an ironic statement? He's not the one that brought sex organs into the discussion, that was me, a few posts prior. All he was doing was calling out our now continuing flame war for being stupid (which it is). I have no problem with him passively referring to me and you as kids since we were continuing a childish flame war. So how exactly was what he said, in any possible way, ironic? Seriously, because by the definitions you just gave, it isn't. Maybe you just can't read properly, and because you're such an unlikable little a-hole, you just assume everyone is constantly insulting you, so you made the mistake of confusing me, a troll, with a normal person. Read back over the sequence of events, PAYING CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHO SAID WHAT, to see how you just managed to rack up a big, stinking pile of fail. I mean we're talking mega-fail here. You can't keep anything straight and then when you tried to use your feeble brain to try and insult someone, you just failed harder. Congratulations, you are king of the FAIL. (Sorry Jayski, for keeping up the flame war, but since there is a new race thread you probably won't notice this anyway) 31. I never made any reference to "pre-pubic human sex organs" and therefor what I said was not ironic any way. You and the other guy who are hiding behind their anonymity to continue some off-topic discussion need to leave me out of this. I like a good debate as much as the next guy, but not one like this, and not on an auto racing discussion board. End of story as far as I'm concerned. I'm getting ticked off that you even dragged me into this, but I am going to defend myself from baseless insults. 32. Anonymous posted: 11.13.2010 - 11:18 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) "So how does that possibly make what JayskiJetski said ironic?" How does my quoting you have anything to do with anything Jay said? Maybe you just can't read properly. And you add to the irony by calling me an unlikable a-hole while admitting that you yourself are a troll. I was having a racing discussion when you decided to insult me. "I'm getting ticked off that you even dragged me into this, but I am going to defend myself from baseless insults." You brought yourself into it in post 22. Obviously you are not hiding behind anonymity as your real name is JayskiJetski. 33. The guy who confuses two different people as one accusing someone else of not being able to read, now THATS irony. "And you add to the irony by calling me an unlikable a-hole while admitting that you yourself are a troll." There is no "adding" to the irony, because what you original called out as irony, flat out wasn't. You still don't seem to understand the word, because once again, that wasn't irony. "I was having a racing discussion when you decided to insult me." Yeah, you were, and then when I tried to continue it you completely ignored the important part to start your misguided attempts to one-up me with clever comebacks. Which I might add, you failed at spectacularly. What is that, your fourth or fifth fail of this thread? You should trade in all that fail for a dictionary. And then pay close attention to the definition for a word spelled i-r-o-n-y. 34. irony posted: 11.15.2010 - 12:33 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Unbelievable........
