Todd Bodine wraps up his 2nd championship. 2. Respectable finishes for David Starr and Justin Lofton. 3. 18fan posted: 11.13.2010 - 12:33 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Another snoozer of a Phoenix truck race won by a Cup driver. Fourth year in a row that a Cup driver won this race. At least for Bowyer it was a one-off as it was his first start since 2007. 4. racer x posted: 11.13.2010 - 1:04 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Bodine clinches his 2nd title WOO WOO WOO 5. awesomegordonfan posted: 11.13.2010 - 6:56 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Congratulations to Bodine for winning his 2nd championship and for Clint Bowyer for dominating his 2nd career win. Also a nice early run for Dillon, but a tough break for Hornaday, who had a top 5 car all day until he wrecked. 6. If you put him in a less competitive team, his true talent would be showing but since he is Childress's grandson, he instantly gets the best stuff. 7. Once again, it's a good thing for the competition that he couldn't the full schedule, otherwise Kyle would have won the championship here as well, just like he would have in Nationwide. Wish Aric was able to keep up with Todd during the season since I rooted for him to score the championship. He may not return next year due to a lack of sponsorship. 8. ii posted: 11.13.2010 - 10:59 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Almirola has a full-time ride for JR Motorsports in the NNS, so most likely he won't be in the trucks next year. Bobby Hamilton Jr. quietly gets a top 10 for Rick Ware Racing, their 3rd of the season (another from Hamilton and one from Donnie Neuenburger) Todd Bodine locks up the chamionship with his 12th place finish. Norm Benning, Caitlin Shaw, and C.E. Falk were in the way most of the race, giving some drivers positions they shouldn't be in (for example, Hamilton) Jason White gets his 4th blown engine of the season, but his 1st since Bristol. Another snoozer... the 2 full-time Cup guys finish 1-2, and all 4 who have raced this season (with the exception of Bodine and Steve Park) were in the top-5. 9. Also good run by Bobby Hamilton Jr. 11. 18fan posted: 11.13.2010 - 12:38 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Second week in a row that the two ThorSport trucks finish right behind Kyle Busch with Sauter ahead of Crafton, except this week the 18, 13, and 88 finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th instead of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. 12. Yes I know, however the #51 team was still interested in having him run as many companion events as possible next year, but it looks like its not happening now with Graceway leaving. 13. Wouldn't having a Nationwide Series driver running in the Truck Series the same as a Cup driver running in the Nationwide series? 14. Yeah, but it's not Kyle Busch or Kevin Harvick, so it's OK. 15. awesomegordonfan posted: 11.13.2010 - 8:13 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) When did Neuenberger get his top-10 for the 47 car...? 16. Busch is the first to lead over 1000 laps running only a partial schedule. Matt Crafton scored his 15th consecutive top 10 finish. Aric Almirola scored his 12th consecutive top 10 finish. 18. But the way the schedule looks for next year, he could run all but 2 Truck races next year. If Aric had missed 2 Truck races this season he would still be 6th in the points right now, just 31 points behind Austin Dillon for 5th. Clint Bowyer gets his 2nd Truck Series win in just 8 career starts. Kyle Busch gets his career-best 12th top five of the season in just 15 starts. Johnny Sauter gets his 30th career top ten in 60 Truck Series starts. 28 of them have come in the last two seasons (49 starts). Matt Crafton has back-to-back seasons with at least 10 top fives, and match his career-best of 11 (2009) if he finishes top 5 at Homestead. Aric Almirola becomes the first driver this season to record at least 10 top fives and 20 top tens. He could be the only driver to do it if Todd Bodine and Matt Crafton fail to finish in the top 10 at Homestead. Mike Skinner gets his 12th top ten of the season, but just 2 top fives is by far his career low in a full season (5 in 2008 was his previous worst). Austin Dillon extended his rookie record with his 6th pole of the season, tying Kyle Busch for the most. If neither win pole at Homestead then Dillon would win the season-long pole awards since Kyle and Dillon have equal 2nd place starts but Dillon has more 3rd place starts. He was the highest finishing rookie in the race in 7th. Justin Lofton gets his first top 10 in the last 4 races. Bobby Hamilton gets his 2nd top ten in 6 starts this season for Rick Ware Racing, both coming in his last 3. 21. numbah10hatah posted: 11.28.2013 - 3:30 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #19: Neuenberger got his top-10 at Daytona. 22.
